Can anyone find the section that would purportedly prevent the President from using the "Insurrection Act" (in Section 253 of Title 10 of the U.S. Code)? I cannot find such text.
EDIT: It appears that someone may have been referring to an amendment to the defense appropriation bill that curtails presidential use of the Insurrection Act. This text is not apparently part of the coronavirus relief bill.
