I attended Catholic School for twelve years.

I can't speak for Christian Schools overall, because I just do not know.

But the schools I attended were very upfront concerning nearly every Christian Holiday is based in both substance and timing on Pagan Holidays.

This is remarkably easy to do, as other than Easter, no Christian Holiday that I am aware of, has a fixed date either in the New Testament nor since then.

You have been exposed, somehow, to arrogant Christians.

I will not deny there may be many, including the present Pope, but they are not universal.

BTW, I define myself as a Christian, but certainly not a Roman Catholic. I paid close attention in my Religion Classes, and observed a wide gap between the Teachings of Christ, and the current Actions of the Catholic Church. So I left.
