Don’t think I didn’t notice how you cut out sentences to my points and only responded to the bits and pieces that you could respond to.

So you say you will act in a robbery that doesn’t concern you. Great. Not pretty smart since you aren’t a cop on payroll with legal representation from a department and union but then again, that’s you. You will intervene at a bank or quicky mart even though it isn’t your money. You will risk your life protecting others who decided not to protect theirs. You once said that you asked the police if would volunteer during the riots. Not very smart.

So you don’t get into arguments. Sure. Okay. No one ever does. Especially not you.

So you will not ever get robbed because you aren’t an easy target? Sure. What makes one an easy target? Were all those that got robbed for their guns easy targets? What will you do when a gun is in your face solely because there is one on your hip like it’s happened to others? It won’t happen to you because you are a hard target. I forgot.

As to facts, it is a fact that a lady who’s anti gun for example will not know if you are carrying a gun and be on her way if you conceal compared to if you are doing so open. Whether you care or not, it doesn’t change the facts that she could make an issue if it. It has happened before numerous times where the police had to respond due to a call and the open carrier was ordered to the ground and disarmed. But you don’t care about that. You don’t just want to go about your business unmolested. You crave the attention. That’s why you want to do it.

It’s also a fact that you could get shot by police if they come in hot due to confusion. How you can say that is an opinion is beyond me. That isn’t an opinion. It’s a fact. If a bank is getting held up and the police respond in progress and you are standing there with your gun, they will know that you are a good guy and not have anything pointed at you. They will see you and yell out “Clear” after the other 4 robbers are put down.

It’s a fact that open carriers have been robbed for the gun. That’s not an opinion. A quick google search will show that.

And as to why undercover police conceal, the confusion is with you. As you say, they do it to blend in. Why do they want to blend in? Ask yourself that question. To have the one up on the criminal maybe? So that the Air Marshal isn’t specifically targeted prior to the takeover. Guess you do not want to blend in or have that one up. Making a statement is more important to you.

The people who OC professionally (uniformed cops, security guards, soldiers, etc...) have a uniform that makes CC impossible.

You can't wear a uniform for an armed service and then conceal the firearm. Everybody knows you're armed whether they can see the gun or not.

Armed professionals who do not wear a uniform that identifies them as armed almost always conceal, even when OCing would not "out" them as an agent.

FBI agents for instance do not OC, even in places where they are not undercover and OC by "civilians" is common.

While it's true that OC will deter some criminals, it will attract others. And it will let them know that they need to take you out before you are aware of their threat. So your 1/2 second tactical advantage is useless if you're dead before you know the threat exists.
