Print on 8.5x11 sheet of paper
1 shot at each bird 12 shots total
Score listed on each bird (Max score 99)

Choice of distance, stance and gun
Pistol 10 yards off hand
Rifle 25 yards off hand
Rifle 100 yards bench

Post picture of target with the following information (examples given):
Description of gun ( Remington 700, 30-06, 12-56x56 Simmons super spotter scope)
Distance (100 yards)
Stance or rest used (sandbag front and rear)
Load used (175 SHPBT, 59.5 grains H4831sc, CCI primer)
Date (29 Feb 2017)

If I don't specify unsupported, you can use a sling or tuck your arms into your body.

I'm not proud of my shooting here but I shot it so I'll post anyway.



Gun is a Glock 17 MOS with Trijicon RMR and factory rounds. Shot at 10 yards and drew from concealment each time (just because). Scored a 45... ouch.

I'd like to give this a shot a few more times on a nicer day and with a couple different guns. Either way it was fun.

Also I think my printer printed the image small. At least that's my excuse

Ehh I would not worry about your shooting, I have shot worse and better depending upon the gun, the phase of the moon, and my wife's attitude that day. The whole point to the challenge is for it to be tough, fun and most of all get people out on the range. Look up some of the other challenge threads and you will see what I mean.

A virtual high 5 isn't enough? Seriously though, in order to keep these friendly and get maximum participation a "virtual high 5" is the only prize that will be offered. Maybe @NYGuns can use a special smiley for the high shooter each month.

All though having a scope really helped this time, this is very good shooting for me. Normally I struggle shooting off hand. I'll say it again, those birds are small and this challenge is TOUGH. Lots of fun though. I think I'll give a different pistol a go this weekend.

I printed out a couple, did not look at them, when I got to the range the image was at best 6x9, shrunk on the paper. At 10 yards I would've needed to stand at the 5 yard line to see the birds. I tried shooting it but my eyes don't work down to that resolution.

Came home and printed a few more, changed settings to landscape - still unable to get a full 8x11 fill on the page. Any directions on how to get this to print full bleed would be appreciated.
