But those aren't laws in that pamphlet. Now you have a second copy you lucky guy!
You know Will, Laws are made not for what you can do but for what you can not do.
Think of it this way. You can not smoke in a public building..... That is Law
But you can smoke elsewhere. That is not a Law.
You can drive a car on your own property without a drivers license. That is not Law
You can not drive a car on a public highway with out a license. That is Law.
I don't get your point. What is it you are trying to say? Penal law 400 says....
(f) have and carry concealed, without regard to employment or place of possession, by any person when proper cause exists for the issuance thereof;
There is no such thing as a restricted license.
So you agree that there is no such thing as restricted. Some of your posts seem to say otherwise unless I've totally misunderstood them. The key word is Proper Cause. The judge decides the proper cause is for you to have an unrestricted permit.
If a cop stops you, you are hiking, going hunting, going target shooting and walla that restricted pistol permit is the same as a full carry.
It's just the liberaltards trying to BS you to death that your restricted permit is somehow restricted.
Yossarians dilema: "Catch-22. Anyone who wants to get out of combat duty isn't really crazy." There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's own safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind.
Personally I don't know any cop that would make a big deal about it anyway. He knows you are a good guy when you produce your permit.
Yes, there is in the sense that they will and can pull the license for breaking the rules. Not an illegal possession but they will take the license awayI don't get your point. What is it you are trying to say? Penal law 400 says....

That's a blanket statement. Not all cops are like that.
So you think that cop who went out of his way to count the rounds of a passenger in Lockport that wasn't even driving but declared he was licensed and armed at the traffic stop wouldn't care?I would think Will that unless you get testy with a cop he could care less if you had a restricted license.
As I said before I have never heard of anyone loosing their license for simply carrying on a restricted license.
Nor have I ever seen any case law where a permit holder using sound judgment and going about his daily business
ever lost his license.
I was trying to point out On page 8 section C of my link the explanations one might use if ever questioned as to why they are carrying.
As you said there is no such thing as a restricted permit...... If you know the Law.
Because permits are administrative they give the judges more leeway to mess with peoples rights. When one considers the 14th amendment
of our worthless constitution it seems unlawful that one person living in one county gets a restricted permit and the other county gets a full carry.

I remember when that happened in Lockport. That guy had to hire a lawyer and go to court over it, and got off when they ruled that the cop had no business to demand he unload the gun and then counted the rounds. He got screwed with pretty good.So you think that cop who went out of his way to count the rounds of a passenger in Lockport that wasn't even driving but declared he was licensed and armed at the traffic stop wouldn't care?
What you say is true for the most part but there are cops out there who don't want you to be armed. I mean look at the Nassau County pamphlet you posted. I'm sure there are at least a few cops in that department who will enforce that illegal pamphlet.
It's 10 now. Even says so in Penal law 265. There is an asterisk suspending the 7 rd limit with reference to the appeals case.I don't know anything about counting rounds in lockport. I have read the state police policy on the issue of when they can check how many rounds you have in a pistol. It came down to this. If simply checking to see if a person has a permit you can not check the magazine for bullets. A probable cause issue. With an automatic you get seven in the mag and 1 in the chamber. Yea I know you want more and so do I but I can survive on 8 rounds.
