There is good reason for loving dogs more than people. I'm 100 percent with you there. I wish I knew a breed that would be ideal for life on the road. My best guess and don't take this the wrong way, is that a low energy dog or a breed that didn't need constant mental stimulation would be the best for long rides. You might be focused and alert because of what you have to deal with driving, but your puppy will be bored.

I see a fair amount of Shih Tzus in trucks, but I don't really like those. Don't tell that to my Mother's Shih Tzu Ellie though.

It has been my experience through 64 years of life, that anti-gun people are not willing to have any discussion that does not include: :"common sense" gun laws. The only "common sense" gun law I live by is 2A.
