No what's up
Did I just hear her say you can get a concealed carry in Iowa at 19 years old? I thought it was 21 in all states?
Interesting. So then the question would be how do you get a pistol at 18?5 seconds after her saying that i googled, and so you can carry permitless outside of city limits in idaho at 18.... which means no you couldnt carry in another state

I eas at work, any highlights?Anyone watching the shit show going on right now?
I think it wad passed out of the committee, but the bill tracker hasn't been updated yet.I eas at work, any highlights?
I get it, its easy to be taken out of context and butt heads. Ill say that jmac has been around a long time and id consider him a patriot from all his postings over the years. Sometimes things just get heated.i didnt think you did, i just have to sometimes make sure people dont take me to aggressively. (see some previous posts when someone who thinks just because a pro 2a gun law or bill doesnt affect him then why should he care. next think you know he wants to watch me or someone give chuck shumer a blowjob for some reason idk)
Does anyone think it would be weird to carry a something like a Shield in a shoulder holster? Because if tgis does pass, and if I were of a mind to ignore company policy and carry on the road, which we all know I wouldn't cause Imma good boy, I would be using a shoulder holster. It addresses all the issues I would have with a belt holster I.E. easy access while seated, which I am most of the day, no issues with public restrooms, which are pretty much the only ones available to me, and ease and speed of removal should I find myself entering areas where carrying may not be appropriate, which I do fairly regularly.
The single stack Shield would sidestep any capacity issues.
so does anyone really know what the hell are in these two bills .. word for word .. ????
Doe's not OVERRIDE state law ... so you wont be able to carry in FUAC land without the kings super NYC permit i take it ..
don't bring your 15 rnd double stack to NY ...

and you have a permit from FL or another state coming TO NY ... ?? does not override state law when where and manner of CCW
I think that just voids this bill if so .. where is the reciprocity then ?? ..
As I understand it in its’ present form, as an upstate NY holder of an Unrestricted CCW, I would have to follow NY laws that would not allow me to carry in NYC, or to have any handgun mags over 10 round capacity.
HOWEVER, under HR 38 as currently written, if I were to obtain an out of state permit (say FL, for example,- which I could obtain even without having a NY permit), I could then use the FL permit to carry in any of the 50 states and in the District of Criminals, as well as in NYC. And as I further understand it, NY restrictions on handgun weight, and for magazine capacity would essentially be bypassed by way of my out of state permit.
If that is actually the case, then HR 38 would basically gut our NY handgun permitting scheme, and those of the other anti states as well. Seems like the only problem would be the inability of residents of the anti states without permits in their home states to purchase new handguns since they have to be sold through a FFL in your home state and then you would have to follow the anti’s permitting schemes.
So, if I’m understanding this correctly, AND it gets passed as written, it seems like it would be a pretty damn big thing, and a huge stick in the eyes of the anti states.
I think that would actually happen now that you say it. It just seems to follow. If a ccw will be treated like a driver's license...If this does pass, I have hunch that out of state permits may become a thing of the past.

I agree but whose to say that out of state ccw won't become null and void at the time this is signed into law? This is all just speculation of course and I would urge people to still get their out of state ccw while they still can but this is a whole other facet I never even considered. So to those that only have NY permits and want make sure FUAC can't do anything to null the effects of this bill (all assuming it does pass), now might a good time to take a day trip to PA to get a LTFC in that state as a precaution.
