@Jaywmustang You are referring to the post on May 14th, I assume. Our Summer scoped rifle league introduced a new class for the competition. We used to have three classes, light (under 10 pounds), heavy (over ten pounds) and anything goes (you could shoot a light one at a hundred and a heavy one at 200 if you wished). The rules were (and still are for the light and heavy) 5 rounds standing, 5 rounds sitting at 100 and 5 rounds off the bench at 200. The open class is 5 rounds at each distance 100,200 and 300 from the bench. This year we are looking to add 5 rounds at 400 to the open class.
We have not sponsored any classes mainly because, we haven't been asked by any instructors/companies. If an instructor would like to give a class/classes at our facilities we have guidelines for accommodating such requests.

It looks like a good rifle Celt. I can't find a price anywhere on the site. I want a chassis 6.5 but I have a decent amount of stuff to buy before I go down that road. I vote that you build one so I can learn from your experience.

Im sure its out of my price range. I dont know what it costs but ill guess around 3g's.
Ive got a nice rem 700 wearing an hs precision stock that will have to do for now. Plus, i need to buy a 44mag lever gun, a 357 revolver, a glock 34 and another g19 before the 6.5...

I only own one Glock and no sig's so Ya I feel your pain. I also have a bench gun and a hunting rifle. So it's going to be a bit before I can justify picking something up. But I keep reading people loving the 6.5 and it's starting to make me want to jump on board. Plus I want to try a chassis system out. I need to win the lottery.

That mr1 looks like it is in a masterpiece arm chassis. If u want to save a few buck masterpiece arms can build off of your action. It is there evolution rifle program.

Your what we call an enabler, that's not a good thing either!
It looks like a great rifle on paper. It has a lot of nice features, the short throw bolt for example.
Cons: There is a possibility of the titanium receiver and steel barrel corroding but, other than that I think you would be paying too much for the exotic metal receiver.
I would be interested in the price tag.

I am not so keen on these " space age stocks" I put a 2300 dollar LRB M25 into a 1800 dollar JAE 100 G3 stock. It definately did not get me anything over my Walnut Stocked Springfield M1A, quite the opposite actually. Looking to see what the stock got me over the other one. I swapped the rifle stocks and the M25 actually shot better in the walnut stock, the M1A shot the same.
I Thinking about having the LRB sent to a smith that specializes in M14s and having it rebarreled in 6.5 Creedmoor and fine tune the JAE stock. Either that or getting a carbon fiber stock for it and sell of the JAE.

Yeah they had the BA sitting right next to the FCP I bought. I looked at the price and said let me see the FCP. For 600 more the BA didn't come equipped with a CD player or even a radio.

I'm with you. I have yet to meet people in the local area to shoot with. The good news is we aren't too far apart so we will have to do a few shoots this summer.

Good call. I would have went with the cheaper option. I don't care for the stealth chassis looks. Herbs in Oswego had the stealth,almost bought it but i need to slow down on rifle buying. Lol

Both are equal distance for me. I was actually not to far Ds last week went up lowville to pick up some venison we had processed.
I am planning on shooting the 26th. I will be available The 30th, 31st, 1st and 2nd for shooting too.

I was able it find the town. I was using google maps. Idk why it would not show the exact address but i haven't tried with my car unit yet
If you are coming from 812 you turn onto Artz road drive past the speedway, there is a huge dip in the road and the range will be on the right past the dip. There is a black message board sign at the road to the range, there is a street sign pole but someone stole the street sign.
