Around 6 PM perhaps earlier this was declared no terrorism involved .. The reason was no group had claimed responsibility ... Think about that...Within hours they declare . this was all wrapped up.. Hell if they had a plate number of the vehicle they would just be starting to look at his social media .. This is the fastest case closed we have ever seen . Something ain't right folks.

My guess is that they were doing something illegal, drugs, smuggling, and were told to pull over , they were screwed and panicked, hit the gas in an attempt to flee. If you watch the video the car is moving into on comming traffic, which means he turned around and attempted to flee back towards Canada/US?
For those of you that haven't crossed, there are two check points, one US and one Canadian on opposite sides of the bridge . It looks like he made it through the first check point fine, and was busted at the second check point where he turned around and sped back ,where he saw an opening at the gate. I would assume the traffic at the gate prevented him from fleeing through the proper gate/ direction As is pretty usual at that time of day , saw an open gate in the on comming lane and tried to go for it there. In any case, it didnt pan out .

According to a new report by CNN, an affluent man driving a $300,000 Bentley Excelsior X caused the fiery accident at the Rainbow Bridge near Niagara Falls on Wednesday.A 56-year-old man who lived in an upscale neighborhood went to a nearby casino with his wife after a KISS concert he intended to go to was canceled.
The unidentified driver was driving at a high rate of speed when he hit the center divider and launched into the air. The Bentley caught fire after it crashed into the border inspection point.

This still seems all weird to me. Every news report was wrong. They all said from Canada trying to enter the USA. That was wrong, now the explosion was wrong and it’s just a fire. That car sure took off and flew higher and farther than any Hollywood car scene. Also said he was going to a concert that was cancelled so he went to the casino instead. I’m guessing a Bentley is pretty advanced so it would be hard to do this. I’m sure plenty of warning lights and sounds would be yelling at him. Someone said it might have been a murder suicide. I don’t know.
The response to close a whole bunch of stuff was odd to me and searching for another car seems the same to me. They took pretty extreme measures on both sides of the fence and certainly would have seen this video prior to making those calls.

I have quite a bit of experience working on and dealing with Bentleys. I absolutely believe that a Bentley could do this as it looked like a continental GT in the video. Even though they are a heavy ass car they can go fast as hell simply because they have so much power out of the twin turbo 12 cylinder engine (500 plus HP) Yes the newest ones have a ton of safety tech but it can be turned off. Most of the Bentleys you see in wny are preowned 2008ish models that only have basic traction and stability control, as dealers like to sell them as one can retail those for upper $40k’s for the wanna be ballers. As they age they have quite a bit of problems especially electrical issues. Supposedly that particular Bentley had been in for service multiple times before for a stuck gas pedal. I’m glad I no longer have to deal with Bentleys anymore (changed brands) as dealing with things like air ride suspension that gets stuck in lift mode or dealing with the trunk not opening due to a bad trunk battery (separate from the other 1-2 car batteries they have) or dealing with trying to figuring out wiring schematics (as Bentley doesn’t share their data with all data) is a headache I don’t miss.
I will also say that when a street car crashes into a hard immovable object at 100+ miles per hour it just turns into an explosive fireball like what happened.
this really just seems based upon the evidence that either the car suffered a mechanical failure (stuck gas pedal) or the driver suffered a heart attack.
