The SB triangle brace is made of plastic and is flimsy as hell.

I'm not going to tell you what to buy or not.Good to know... so in your opinion it’s not worth checking out? The SBA4 I have on a AR “Other” variant is very decent!

I had the opportunity to shoot a few mags through an AK-V so equipped and I found the brace to be quite flexy and I got the impression it would stand up a lot of abuse. SB is making an aluminium version of their strut brace, perhaps they will do the same for the triangle brace.
Thought this was interesting:
Lately I have been looking at the KNS adjustable gas pistons, the are able to correct a major drawback of the platform

AK Adjustable Gas Piston
Fits the Kalashnikov & Galil family of firearm variants.www.knsprecisioninc.com
I am wondering if I should put one on my Galil Ace 308.
In fact this produc has kinda flipped my thinking on the whole AK world. I have shunned the Galil Ace in 7.62x39 as it is said to be absurdly overgassed but with this adjustable piston able to correct that I find myself wondering why I would get any other AK tha a Galil since it is the most refined Kalashnikov out there. I wished they offered barrels in the 11" range though.
Not going to lie I love the galil (more so the original ones) and as much as I think the ace has everything figured out to fix many of the issues that the standard AK has (I also love the valmet) the one draw back to me is the polymer lower portion. It almost takes away from the aesthetics for me and makes the gun look larger than it needs to be.
But and I have to check out the video again and the company, there is that company that makes a polymer delete kit for the ace
Wait, you already have a Saiga? My memory clearly fails me, is a 7.62x39? Anyways, yes a Saiga sporter is a perfectly valid NY fighting rifle. As oxymoronic as that sounds. I'd prefer the 7.62x39 version as 5.56 AK mags are harder to find.
In fact the whole reason I pine for traditional style AK is for the availability of really cheap Russian steel case ammo. Or supposed availability post panic as is the case now.
Here, have some interesting background info on the the ubiquitous AK 100 series:
Oh I remember now. Those have gotten to be rare as hens teeth, might want to preserve it as a collectable now. Get an American one for a shooter.Me??
Yeah I converted my Saiga mostly from the sporter and then added this stock to stay compliant

I think because AK 10 rounders look like AR15 20 rounders which look normal enough. TBH when bench shooting ARs use 10 and 20 rounders. 30 rounders are too long. The Saiga is the only gun that looks normal with a 10 rd magazine.

What stock is that? The most common config I've seen, and the closest to the definitions non-protruding grip convos that I've had with @Marine Cpl , are the spur grip AKs I've seen / have. I haven't seen many sold with the particular stock you've got, so it's probably an upgrade to the cheaper / easier to comply spur option that lines up with the action / trigger guard mostly.
Any info on how it's interpreted / if there have been any issues with it? Might be a worthwhile upgrade.
Its called the NYLAK stock sold by "New York Legal Arms"
Same concept as the thordsen stock just well made by a dude local, he also makes spur grips.
The stock while not the most attractive is actually not all that horrible, its complete trash compared to a regular stock and pistol grip but that is not due to the guy who makes it or its quality but due to the nature of being a compromise.

That's the guy who also claims you have to glue the stock in place, right?
