If I can pull off carrying this thing or my 34 all day...you can do it! Lmao But seriously, carry anything you can carry comfortably and are proficient with. I just tend to stick with the largest ones I can get away with.

All day every day with zero issues. And honestly since I am not a "privileged" individual and a comp is out of the equation, I really do plan to go to a G34 preferably with the Agency AOS since I am not a fan of the MOS (C&H plates make it a viable option but I like the AOS so much more)
And while it's a minor issue I really do just hate irons rear.
But I am more or less talking (the 507k) for a sweatpants or gym shorts run to the gas station gun... ie probably wont ever get it because itd be used maybe like once every few months

I cannot keep up with all these acronyms. I’m assuming you mean a mounted flashlight. If so, then yes. Soldiers or SWAT on long range patrols in the dark or during CQB when entering dwellings do not use mounted flashlights for obvious reasons.

Nope. Not when on patrol or entering a dwelling in force. Imagine how ridiculous it would be for a 9 man patrol in the mountains of Afghanistan to be patrolling mountains with lights on whether constantly on or momentarily on. While indoors, 99 percent of the time it’s off unless needed momentarily but mostly off so as not to telegraph your exact location. That’s why NVG’s are used.
SWAT guys operate the same way unless they are totally clueless and headed by a buff with no training that reads a lot of magazines.
If the role were reversed and someone entered my dwelling, my shots will go directly where the light is. Full mag dump in that direction.
That would explain all the SWAT innocent shootings as of late.

It’s actually quite comical the size of weapon lights some carry here on the carry pistols. I see the utility in certain situations but none for a light that size. There are much more ergonomic lights that have enough power for what they are supposed to be used for.

I said they are used for certain situations. Not like what you would use it for. For the most part they are used after the shooting is over. After a room is cleared and suspects are on the ground. How do you know what I would need what light for?
Can you predict what encounter I may or may not be in? How much light or lack there of there will be? Or other light barriers that could decrade the light I have, punching through light barriers with a 500 lumen 6,000 candela light is a lot more difficult to do than with a 1,000 lumen and a 13,000 candela light.
I'm suprised you havent brought up your go to argument "it will give the bad guy something to aim at"
I'm just glad to know that your cunning ability to know the future tells you that I WONT ever need the light I'm carrying on my handgun...
Sadly it didnt say I wont need my handgun which means you have predicted that I will at some point need it, can you maybe focus on when and where that might happen so I can either try and avoid that or just be more mentally prepared?

What deflection? There is more to light, than lumen.
Hence why I didnt buy the first x300 that came out years ago with 1,000lm, the surefire xh30 or 35.

Bright enough to illuminate a downed man after the shooting stops to determine if he’s dead or alive. If alive to keep watch until someone else restrains him.
If you are a member of an entry team to illuminate a cleared room for additional threats after you have already entered. To search inside closets, ect.
You don’t need a million lumen, candela, or whatever you want to call it for that.

2. If you do not and keep night lights or ambient lights on, why would you need to illuminate a threat? Are you saying that if a window breaks or a door is kicked in and you do have ambient light on, you want to ID the burglar first? You need to look and see his 5,‘o’clock shadow to determine if you will fire on him?
No. Not shooting at sounds and shadows. Don’t be a tool.
And on the street, the same applies. You can see. There’s always ambient light or light at night in public places. You aren’t going to be shooting a person 25 yards away. You will do so when close to you and you fear for your life. You don’t need 4K or 1080p to know when your life is in danger when a threat approaches you.
So in low light you can perfectly identify? You can tell if someone has something in their hands. You can tell if that thing you see in their hands is a knife or just a phone? Darkness only happens in the home? Not outside? Or do you not go outside after dusk?

No. If you are in an entry team, you use NVG’s. If you are in your home, you use ambient lighting. No person that takes defense in the home seriously would ever keep their home pitch dark. Ambient lighting in the kitchen, living room, study, foyer, laundry room, garage, ect should have ambient lighting if you take your home defense seriously.
Looks like you guys are having one July 14th in Scranton.. as it sits right now (other than needing to register) I plan on being at this one
