I ordered a new pistol that I was going to surprise the forum with, but had to respond to your post - I ordered a SIG P365XL (my first SIG!) and I also have the 507K on order. Even with the backorder status of the optic I might get it first if the pistol permit offices don't open up soon.. Oneida is looking at middle of May, and that was BEFORE Cuomo extended the 'PAUSE' until the end of May.
The XL comes premilled for a dot (+ has SIG night sights) and by early reports seems to work really well with 507k. I almost went with the 407k for $70 or so cheaper, but I like the option of the circle+dot (plus 2 MOA vs 6 MOA on 407k). I'll probably end up buying a 365 frame to "downsize" slightly if I decided I like it over my M&P Shield for primary carry.
I also have a 510C+3x magnifier on order for a rifle. I might need to sell some stuff this summer I'm not using, heh... (I have a 1-6x Primary Arms scope but just don't like using it)
I have a Vortex Venom red dot on my S&W .22cal Victory but figured I'd dip my toes into it a little more. I love it on the Victory, even a friend who tried said it makes target shooting feel like easy mode.
Edit: The 407k/507k is a red dot, the 510c I have coming is a green dot - they also have a "gold dot" which I didn't know was a thing... I could not justify the bump in $$$ on that quite yet.

If you find otherwise, please share. Here's a video of the ANR guys with the 507k (though imprint says HS307) on a P365XL.
I stand corrected. The video I saw mentioned the optic ready Hellcat. It will match up with the XL without any machining.

That’s what I plan on putting on my 34 slide. I just received a message from the guy that milled it telling me that it’s finished and it’s on it’s way to me now. He took a few pics of it and sent it to me. Also got a set of Ameriglo GL-429’s installed on it. He’s also porting a barrel for me right now, then sending it out for nitride. I should have that barrel back in about 3-4 weeks hopefully.
It’s great cause my 34 fits my same Tier 1 Concealment holster for my comped 19.

I had my first pistol milled for a RMR last year and I will not be going back to irons for carry or competition. Since Holosun announced the mini "K" sights I decided to put a 407K on my P365 once they are available. This wasn't a hard decision since Trijicon doesn't make anything that fits the 365. Now the dilemma...I love my Trijicon Type 2 06 but the reviews for the new 508T V2 put it in the same class as the RMR and for substantially less. I also like the idea of a side mounted battery tray when it's time to replace the battery. Do I put the 508T on my next gun or stay with the Trijicon I know? Because of this Chinese flu I've time to ponder. The new Holosun's won't be available for at least a month and my new pistol hasn't even been shipped yet.
Since you and your pistol are "sheltered in place" just sit there and look at pictures..lol go with the 508t and give us a review
It’s quite the conundrum. That’s exactly why I’m going with the 508Tv2 for my Glock 34. If an optic survives Aaron Cowan having it and beating the living crap out it it...it’s good for me. An optic goes through more abuse within the first 10 minutes of Aaron Cowan having it than most people would do in its lifetime.

The P320RX with the Romeo 1 is primarily a range gun/training gun. The P365 with the 507K will be my primary carry. Having said that, I do carry the P320 and the Romeo 1 seems to be more than adequate for the task. I will let you know if any issues appear.
I really need to get my hands on an inexpensive holosun 407c or even a 507c.

They were.. I just cant justify one right now (other projects and the whole waiting to hear when I get to go back to work) hell I almost got one of the 407 that was going for $165 and should have snagged it up for just a range toy
I am thinking about putting one on my H&k VP9. Thinking about getting the rear sight plate and the Vortex Venom. Deciding between the 3MOA and the 6.
Milling > dovetailed plates.
Holosun > vortex
But dovetail mounts do work but generally for nothing other than range fun. Downside for HK guns if you want to mill, more cost than other guns but it looks like the dovetail mounts can be had for about $50
With a dovetail, you are going to have a higher height over bore, and lose the rear sight which can actually be very helpful to have when learning red dots on a handgun.
As for the holosun, the 407c can be had for pretty much the same price as the vortex and is going to be a much durable and better made optic
But hey maybe if you end up liking it, HK is also selling an optics ready VP9 long slide

Anyone put one on a revolver? I'm leaning towards a 4-5" Ruger GP100 or an L-frame S&W for my next purchase and wonder if anyone has experiences mounting a red dot to something similar to those. I love red dots on a handgun and I'd love to put one on a revolver. I see a few options available for doing it, but I was hoping to hear from someone with personal experience.
Also considering saying screw it and getting a 5" Taurus Raging Hunter in .454 Casull, sticking a Sig Romeo 5 on it and having the most obnoxious setup in the field or at the range for a couple of hundred less than going with the other two. Only problem with that route is that I don't have hands that can palm a beachball, which is who I assume those grips were designed for.
