So im hearing reports that the Aimpoint ACRRO P2 won't start being in stock until sometime June or even as late as August.

You sure about that? I thought the Romeo Pro used the Luepold Deltapoint Pro footprint. I would like you to be correct as if I needed to replace the Romeo on my SIG I'd want a Holosun.

I was having trouble on searches trying to confirm wether or not it had the RMR holes. Some would say yes. Some no.
Also, the slide and flat trigger, including tax and shipping was nearly $60 less than what Sig wants for just the slide on their website.
Many people have issues with the red dot and their eyes. I put the battery in and turned it on to make sure there wouldn't be an issue. (I haven't seen an eye doctor in years). It's fine unless I turn the brightness up all the way.

Yes. The R1P and the DPP share the same footprint which is, I believe, larger than the RMR. It also uses different screw pattern and thread sizes.

You have the newer "x series" model, yes? Me too, this is good news. For now the Romeo Pro is fine but if it breaks I'll replace it with a holosun. With the kind of use it sees with me I doubt it will break though any time soon.

It should I think. But I believe the rmr footprint is smaller so it may not be as well supported.

That plate is for the slides that incorporate the rear sight into the plate.
Some slides (mine) have the dovetail in the slide itself.
I quite like that little feature too.
When I get home I can take a picture to demonstrate to the others.
Factory co-witness setup is pretty slick.
You are correct.. looks like FCD only makes that version and then also one with the rear sight or without for the ACRO..
This shit is so confusing, all these different P320 versions.

I was just going to order a pro cut slide but I never could get confirmation if it also had the rmr holes. Too many conflicting results.
Plus this way, I get the suppressor height sights which are ~$100 by themselves
Yup and sig will actually make rolling changes in their optic cuts to keep people from using mounting plates

OTOH, I really like this pistol. It shoots so much smoother than my XDS. It's an apples to oranges comparison though as it's 9mm vs 45. This translates into better and more consistent accuracy. Additionally, I like it better than the Glocks I've shot in the past

That's the setup for the RXP models- RDS has its own cut and tge rear sight sits in its own dovetail. I don't have the camera skills (don't know how to lock focus) to provide a clearer picture but you can at least see how it co-witnesses.
And I also like my P320, nice balance, has some heft, feels good in the hand. Looks pretty cool too. I also like the Romeo Pro. Simple controls, crisp dot, minimal tint and a top loading battery.

I should have the 509 early next week. We'll see how it looks and fits. I'm thinking it might get a better fit (aesthetically) with an aftermarket plate but we'll see
509 is the closed emitter, box lookin' one?
I am curious to see how it fits too, the 509 is what I'd get too. If that's the boxy one.
If I were to take a wild guess I'd say you have over a dozen "Notify me when in stock" notices out there for a Acro P2.. lol
