Do you see the difference between this shooting and the knee to the neck? After being more than likely justifiably shot, the officer’s rendered aid to this piece of shit rather than continue the use of force until his death.

I won't say what I want to see happen in that situation, lest it be used against me in court at a later time.
I'll go so far as to say there should be more homeowners and business owners on rooftops.

Seems like some were correct and others were wrong. Apparently, Mr. Blake is not such a good guy after all.

Gotta be careful in NY. You can't start a physical engagement then pull a gun when you're overwhelmed when the others pile on. You've always gotta look at the big picture. When you start fighting her the 30 others will come in and you're all done.

I probably would have told her to get the fuck away from me or she's gonna have a bad day.

If that didn't work I'd probably tell her I have a gun and she needs to go away.

For menacing you would need to display the gun so keeping it put away and announcing you have it as a deterrent seems like a decent and legal way to get them to move on. If that didn't work and you were then physically engaged by them and could not escape, you may exercise A35 as needed.

Always remember, there is always a way to escalate a situation that does not look like you are escalating. Say the correct words, quietly, make the other escalate for all to see.

I still don’t see a clear roe on defending a store. Against arson yes but if people are storming in looting is a store owner even legally able to shoot? I doubt it.

At his business he would have no duty to retreat and given the climate and crowd size it would be reasonable for him to fear for his life. Others in similar situations have been badly injured and killed.

Now, that's what the law says, but in the real world as we've seen lately some prosecutors don't care much what they law says, they will persecute anyway. Rule of law is starting to break down, so rely on it at your own risk.

So unless the building is your dwelling (in this case it's not it's a business) you would have to be injured or they would need to have a gun to use DF against them.

I'm still very confused about exactly what the escalation procedure is for civilians with rifles "defending" businesses. As far as I know no business with patriots standing out front with rifles has been attacked, but what if people just walk past them and start looting?
