The cops should have spent a lot more money on PR firms, and a lot more time working on their image.

All the good guys who take the time to help the poor kid fix his bicycle does no good if the only people who hear about are the ones that are already in the cops corner.

"we can't comment on an active investigation" is just PR suicide. It doesn't matter what information comes out 6 months later, all the public ever hears is what's in the news that week.

You may not like it, and it certainly isn't fair, bit it is reality, and while you can ignore reality, you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.

Looks pretty damn clear cut to me. Now, the police chief resigned and the cop was fired.

But that cop isn't going to be convicted of jack shit over this. Nor should he. This guy had already fought the cops and taken a tazer. At this point the cops either had to let him go OR the only way to apprehend him was to shoot him dead. They had tried the other escalation options.

...and I’m gonna get more overtime because of it.

I’m finally home enjoying my first day off in June, but I spoke to one of my cops who is working. All plans to stop the overtime are on hold because of Atlanta.

Racism is definitely a thing in the police forces as with any other profession. You get the same in restaurants and real estate. But I would say that it isn’t the majority. Ego and rights violations apply to all races by the police forces.

YouTube videos are evidence of that. I get dozens of new videos everyday appear on my YouTube feed. I see videos of Whites and white looking Hispanics getting their rights violated all the time in car stops and 1st and 2nd Amendment audits. In fact, the majority of those videos are taken by Whites and White looking Hispanics.
