I've met @GOPerfect (he's also smart, reads a lot too, he hooked me up with a book series) I would not mess with him. I'm not a huge guy by any means I'm rather ordinary and average. But definitely would not pick a fight with him. Glad he's on our team.

I hate to say it but I wish the police were not able to arrest the man due to underfunding. These guys need to understand the implications of less police. This incident would probably not have happened in the first place if the police were allowed to do their jobs. The boys would not have felt compelled to save their local market if the police could have handled it. Its unfortunate for both sides. And if the mayor or governor refuses outside help He or they, are complicit in the rioting.
It will take a hard hand and cost some lives but order can be restored if they allow it.

That one picture looks pretty bad where the guy shot has his hands up before he is shot. The rest looks justified.
This is what I've been trying to tell you guys. Just because you think you are justified does not mean you won't be charged and possibly convicted. This guy is getting Murder 1 charges. So think very hard first. Unless dire conditions it is best to stay inside and be prepared to be breached. Sad but true.

No Hes fucked, because if he shot the first man in the head as alleged, he is now a fleeing felon , and if anyone is hurt during a commission of a felony he can be charged with their death . Its like a burgler killing somebody in legitimate self defense. Wont hold up in court.

People of any state/city are also US citizens. When a governor fails to provide for their protection they should be able to bypass local authorities and ask for federal help. In many cases the state violates peoples civil rights.

Without so much information its impossible to pass judgment. He is running, gets attacked by multiple people some trying to take his rifle, he fights back using the tool at hand. That is all we know, all I know. What did he do wrong?

I strongly suspect there will not be a conviction here, I a little doubtful it even sees trial, but maybe.
Hearing chatter he was 17, and crossed state lines. Possible he could not legally carry that gun in the first place. Crossing state lines to participate in this could be a federal enhancement. Hard to deny motive when traveling there with a gun.

This was a justified shooting. No doubt. But this kid went there looking for trouble and found it. Some members here have talked about doing the same or wanting to do the same to protect businesses for whatever reasons whether legitimately wanting to help or due to itching for a reason to open carry for their own ego because it’s cool and fun.
Here’s the deal. It isn’t up to you to go protect someone else’s business. It’s their business and their responsibility to protect it. If they do not want to protect it or decided to write it off so that they can protect their home and family, why should it be on you to risk your life and freedom to protect their wallet? They sure as hell ain’t gonna do that to protect your house that’s now left unattended.

Thats not the whole story. He is accused of killing a man in the parking lot. Thats why he was fleeing. If so, he's a fleeing felon and self defense does not apply
obviously subject to change as more info is released but thats why he was charged with murder. Maybe the guy in the parking lot took a shot at him? or chaseing someone with a weapon? I dont know.

In this video you see him allegedly call the cops to report he has just shot somebody. He is in the green shirt with the rifle.
If he would have stayed he would have had to shoot a lot more people.
