Muzzle Devices on Pistols in NY - SAFE Act Website Incorrect/Custom Barrels OK

I read a lot about people not liking ported/comp barrels for CCW. Since the ports face up and sideways the muzzle flash is directed up and to the side. Making it hard to see at night when you shoot.

Not to mention even something as weak as a 200 lumen light will negate any slight flash from carry ammo

Well not only is it on sale, I messaged them on FB (didnt see an option to buy suppressor height sights directly from them) they answered me back with in half an hour this late at night (they are out of Florida) super helpful and even offered to call me tomorrow incase I wasnt able to get through to them to place the order with the suppressor sights

Yea they are awesome! When I get my 34 ported they were very friendly and customer service oriented! Def jump on that deal

Not that it really will help me much... butttt how was their turn around time? If you can remember

Well I went with Loki. I didn’t want to pay the price for mod-K. Loki was like $65 with a 2 week time. I didn’t ask about lead. I’m

And looks like Mod-k does their porting for $50, so if I ever want to go extra Gucci and get a better (than I can shoot) barrel and have them port that as well later

So can you legally have a muzzle brake on a pistol in NYS as long as it's not threaded? There are a bunch of cool machined one's I've seen that I'd like to buy if that's the case.

I'd think so. It's just a replacement bushing. The barrel bushing is an integral part of the 1911. No threads are involved.
