I know! I’m so torn because I want it but Ruger c’mon I want to know pricing! I can get the Midwest handguard, extended bolt handle, and the rear QD spaced for less than $170 now. A good deal considering the package is $200.

Yes but the Ruger model with the hand-guard's MSRP is only $80.00 more then the model without. So I'll wait. its not like it is going to make it shoot better! I'm actually want a mag-well for the S&W M&P more!

I agree. I want a magwell for my HK VP9. Hopefully Ruger doesn’t try to capitalize on us early adopters and raise the price of that piece.

I highly doubt Ruger will sell their handguard for $80. It's only $80 more if you are buying the rest of the rifle with it. I would expect it to msrp similar to all the after market guards.
Yes I agree but even at the same price as the after markets I still prefer the full length look! I would hope they are cheaper say $120.00 would be good

Well guys, I'm officially in the Ruger PC Carbine club! Picked her up today! A nice thing to ease the pain of having to come home from out west. My FFL even threw in a box of 115gr 9mm!

I'm almost considering trying to make a wooden forend for this that would use the mlok rail system to attach. Like using an old break action shotgun forend and cutting it to fit the contours..

Installed the MI charging handle and swapped sides with it. Also reversed the mag release. Hopefully going to get to fire this thing tomorrow.

Are you a righty? If so and you ever sling it on in front of you, the charging handle will stab you in the chest or stomach and your sling will get in the way for magazine changes.
I did what you did but changed everything back to the outside after running some drills at home.

@ArmedCorgi you should check our Club calendar for the AR Challenge (America's Rifle) matches next two are 7/14 and 7/28 they are open to non-members. I've been shooting them with my PCC9 it is like IDPA with long guns!

No steel at this time. Red-dot most of us have, Shooting at between 7 and 100 yards, mixed positions and stance's ( standing, kneeling, prone and weak side) with mag changes and such.

I want to note that if you tried to buy the handguard alone, it puts the total lower than $150 thus charging you shipping.

I’ve had it my cart for over a week. I just can’t seem to bring myself to pull the trigger. I like the look of the Ruger one, but the MI one is nice too. I just wish I knew what the pricing was going to be on the Ruger one, so I could make a decision.
I have wanted to buy like 2 things in the past week or so, the other one is a T-shirt but I have so many t shirts!

Go for it. At this point you don't know for sure Ruger will sell the handguard separately. I mean, they should and probably will, but they might not. At the least I think you are in for a wait since they will probably want the new models to sell some before they offer the handguard.
