I’m wondering if the new Ruger PC carbine in .40 S&W has been seen for sale in local gun shops? I realize the 40 doesn’t come with the MLock handguard yet but I would still want to get one. I already have 4 SR 40 magsHas anyone seen the new Ruger PC Carbine .40 S&W on sale in stores yet?

Nice, but not for NY. You'll have an evil assault weapon. A $300 stock for a $500 carbine may not make a lot of sense either.
@Camaro45th is your Midwest Ind. order on track? Mine is back ordered for about 3 weeks, which I am OK with! I'll just beat the guys at the AR Challenge match this Sunday again with the factory model LOL!!
Post up pics once you get it and have it installed.Yeah mine was shipped it was last seen in NJ in its way to me tomorrow.
Use the 3 weeks lead time to keep checking Ruger to see if they release theirs for purchase.
So I got home today and it was sitting on my doorstep. Didn’t even shower, I had to put this thing on. So from first glance, it looks awesome and feels great. All 3 pieces seem to be made of quality materials. The hand guard came sealed in a box that was also in a bag. Looking through the bag the handguard looked wet. When I cut the bag open you could tell there was some excess oil on the handguard before they put it in the bag. I wasn’t sure if this was just extra that made its way out of the handguard or if they put some in the bag to keep the handguard from maybe rusting? I had to wipe it off with a T-shirt just to get most of it off there still a thin film of it on that when I grab it leaves my handprint on it so when I have a chance maybe tomorrow night I will try to clean it so I can grab it without it feeling a bit oily.
Beside the oil, the grip feels awesome. I’m looking forward to shooting it again.
The spacer and bolt handle are both nice pieces as well I don’t know how much longer the bolt handle is compared to stock but it has texturing on it.
The bottom of the spacer is not the exact contour as the rest of the stock, but it’s such a small amount only a nit picker will complain about it.
Bummer, but you know it's not the type of upgrade that makes you shoot better. It would only make you look better.I was hoping to have my Midwest order by today so I could have the PCC all set up for tomorrows match, But tracking says Monday oh well!
It might be a big help if it keeps @nortatoga from burning the shit out of his hand on a hot barrel.Bummer, but you know it's not the type of upgrade that makes you shoot better. It would only make you look better.

Enshrouded barrels are just the way to go if you ask me.
Actually:
PMM Ruger® PC Carbine MLOK RAIL + FREE TOP RAIL!

That looks really, really cool. So much so it's a toss up between this and the AK-V.
I think I would follow your example and ditch the front post. And I liked the sight picture in the link I previously posted, a barrel mounted pistol red dot has a nice open view. I'm thinking the new Trijicon SRO would be perfect on this.
I don’t know what is up with this company. They have since removed the top rail from their website. That picture you also posted is gone too.
I would recommend that you buy from elsewhere when you get yours.
Yeah, they did that for me when I ordered the charging handle from them.was nice of Midwest to send a beer can wrap to keep the PBR's cold while I did the installations!!
Part of me thinks that Midwest is going to come out with a longer hand guard. When you get the box, the label says something along the lines of Handguard 12”. Won’t be surprised if they try to make it full length
Not sure if the sling mount will work there or not?
What do you think gents? This was originally meant for my Mossberg project as a cheek rest but I think with some more finishing work could be a cool forend for the PCC. It is currently just sanded and not the final color.
That is where I grip it. I'm just spitballing here. I like it as short as it is, but could also make another that is longer. For some reason I thought the Russian Ppsh-41 had a forend. I guess not, lol. Somehow, I still feel like adding the wooden forend helps give it that Ppsh-41/submachine gun look. Maybe because of the added wood, even though it's in the wrong place...I wish that Ruger made the buttstock with removable cheek risers like they did with I think another one of their rifles. They made a false seam where there could have been removable combs. It would be cool to replace that with a wooden insert to balance out the wood forend. Perhaps I can make spacers out of an old buttstock and replace the plastic spacers with it to add more wood to the stock...I think it looks cool. But I say it has to be moved forward. Put in the middle (or where you comfortable grip position is.
