Who checks the Coregistered box?
I buy a gun put it on my permit. I later put the gun on my wife's permit.
Which person checks the box.
A) The wife lists the gun and checks the box. Husband does not.
B) Both check the box?

Sorry, it is a legitimate question.
Think about it. My guns are co-registered with my spouse. There has to be a registrant and a co-registrant.

I would think that any gun that appears on more than one permit gets check. It doesn't matter if it's in your possession or the other permit holders.

If the police show up and demand you produce all of your guns how are you going to explain they not in your possession if you didn't list them as co-registered?

In Oregon your CCP is tied to your license, I got pulled over a lot when I was younger. They always asked if I was carrying today. Not really a big deal.

Besides we have a court ruling that they are not allowed to ask about weapons for a traffic stop. They will just automatically assume you have one on you.

if asked in NY are we legally required to answer if carrying? Is sorry but i dont answers questions unless legally required acceptable?

You are full of poop man. I understand what you mean about standing up. Really I do. But this isn't standing up. Standing up is ready to go all out and lose life and limb in a pile of brass. This is where my reference of doing it on front of a cop comes from on previous threads.

After you get the letter in the mail saying that you have to recertify or have your permit revoked, you will have to bury your stuff somewhere and when they get a warrant and you are detained, you'll have to tell them some BS about where they are in another state.

Your parents lives will be thrown into jeopardy either by the warrant raid itself or the legal fees and problems you'll cause them. They too may even have problems with their guns.

Taking a stand on this is foolish. Staying in the game and being always ready to REALLY STAND UP is tactically wiser.

You are a smart guy although stubborn at times. One of 3 things is going on here. You are either being stubborn and willing to lose everything for no result whatsoever except hardship, you are being totally ignorant of what really is happening, or you are full of poop.

I suspect 1 or 3 because I do think you have brains. My gut leans me to thinking 3 though.
