I believe you and Vinson57 are right. A lot of the leftist assholes are looking to piss off freedom loving Americans hoping they/we will start trouble, just in time for the upcoming elections. The lefties are better chess players than the Conservatives and Republicans, much better. But I believe, hope, the majority of We The People, and the middle of the road Dems as well, are smart enough to see thru it. Time will tell.

Elon Musk responded to New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s (D) order banning concealed carry by asking how soon the governor can be removed for violating the Second Amendment.
Musk responded with a post on X, which said, “At risk of stating what should be obvious, deliberately violating the Constitution is next-level illegal. How soon can this person be removed from office?”

New Mexico state Rep. John Block (R-51) reacted to Grisham’s order by calling for her to be impeached and removed from office.


When a reporter questioned Grisham’s issuance of the ban, noting the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Grisham responded by stressing her belief that “no constitutional right … is intended to be absolute.”

Remember when Musky boy said this: The billionaire then told the outlet that he supports “tight background checks” for all gun sales and limiting sales of assault weapons to people in special circumstances, like gun range owners, or people who live in a “high risk location, like gang warfare.”

"Assault rifles should at minimum require a special permit, where the recipient is extremely well vetted imo," he said on Twitter, responding to a question from a user.

I watch the bill on liability insurance and owning guns. It has been lingering in the NY legislature for some time. The state regulates the insurance industry to the T. A bill like that becomes law, evening owning a few guns will cost someone thousands per year. Those of us that have PPs will have no choice as they know what we have. After Sept. 13 they will know what long rifles someone has as well. Gun registries are so convenient!

The courts will save us though....

  • The Children, Youth and Families Department to immediately suspend the Juvenile Detention Alternative Initiative and evaluate juvenile probation protocols.
“No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute,” Grisham said in a chilling statement during a news conference.

Even worse, Grisham admitted she is openly violating the US Constitution: “There will be a legal challenge and I can’t tell you that we win it,” she said.

The governor says she doesn’t expect criminals to follow the order. But she hopes it is “a resounding message,” to everyone else in the community to report gun crime.

This is the worst part. The stupid twatwaffle knows it won't stop criminals so she's openly attacking law abiding citizens that now can't defend themselves without risking arrest.

My how times have changed! I lived in Dona Ana, NM in 1988 and was able to walk into a pawn shop and plop down $100 and walk out with a pistol in hand! No permit required! I don't quite remember what ever became of that piece, I think it may have been lost in the Elephant Bute boating accident of late '89.

Unless I missed it, I'm surprised that no one here has mentioned that this is just another trial run.

This is a test, just like the covid restrictions were a test. They're feeling out the intelligence and the resolve of We the People. They are attempting to find out where the line in the sand is IMO.

They're doing recon on the American people and trying to figure out our psyche. They're trying to get a better idea of how quickly they can push the tyranny and take complete control before their moment of opportunity slips away.

This order came from higher up the food chain, This was not the New Mexico's Governors' idea.
She is just another puppet of the DNC, just like Kathy fucking Hochul and Gretchen Whitmer are.

The State Governors Kathy Hochul and Gretchen Whitmer are watching this closely. If this tactic proves to be successful, expect those two tyrants to follow up soon and do the same thing in their respective states.
