Guys. There is a process. There are companion cases in those states.
The good news for CA is that they know how the district court will rule, in our favor, the appeals court will have to rule in our favor if it gets there. CA might not appeal it because Everytown lawyers/money might not want them to, in order to delay HI and the other states from being immediately effected .

This will be going back to Judge Benitez who already ruled the ban unconstitutional, leading to "freedom week". A week were millions of Magazines were bought and brought into California legally

The Massachusetts Senate passed legislation Saturday afternoon that seeks to respond to a U.S. Supreme Court ruling last month that struck down a New York gun-control law that required proper cause to have a license to carry a concealed handgun outside.
The federal decision was expected to have legal ramifications for Massachusetts’ “good reason” provision of the license-to-carry statute. After a brief debate, senators voted 39-1 to pass a bill that would, among other things, remove a firearm licensing authority’s and the Massachusetts State Police’s discretion in issuing, renewing or restricting licenses to carry firearms.

Kind of wondering out loud. As more dominoes fall, is there any chance hochul & co. will feel the loss of support among fellow Governors and relent? I feel that she's a bit of a pedagogue and plays to whatever crowd has the momentum, typical pol, right? As more states moderate their laws to comply (at least superficially) she stands alone in trying to double down in defiance. Is this a political risk she needs to back away from? Or is she so secure in NY that she just doesn't need to give a shit?
She takes the Bruen ruling personally. No way in hell she's going to cave.

Correct. The new legislation is essentially the byproduct of a juvenile temper tantrum. She will continue to dig in because it helps her politically with her base. Only the courts can make her back down.
