Glad you got it back and running!!! After running some rounds through it I bet the tuned spring will be fine, even tho I dont understand why a tuned spring is needed anyway.

You might want contact the company who did the work to see if they will do anything for you since they screwed up.

Did the gunsmith tell you how many test fire rounds they put through it?

I'm going to have go run hopefully 500-1000 rounds myself before it becomes my carry, because they didnt say how many rounds.

And the believed the tuned spring to be to light but I explained it was to make the gun reliable for everything including 147g subsonics (as per MOD-K over the phone to me)

And as for dealing with mod-k I'm not mad about it, I dont know who does their cerakote and things happen, I'm actually happy that it was to thick and not to thin of a layer.

What he means is that you have weak wrists. That's why you cut holes in barrels and slides and run flashlights on the end of it for more weight on a 9mm carry gun in hopes that it doesn't recoil as much. You should give the Glock 42 a shot. It recoils like a .22.

Or why not get a 9mm that can run like a .22 and porting doesnt exactly negate recoil but it puts the sights back on target faster. And not sure what a flashlight has to do with anything

Ok so was able to get to the range. Only able to shoot 150 rounds (40 of which was 124g HST) and not a single hiccup with the OEM spring,

110 rounds was just some 115g steel case wolf ammo, and I shot 10 rounds with the tuned spring, I didnt notice any difference in how it shot, but it did fail to lock the slide open after the last round, so OEM spring it is while I continue function testing

Meh I'll run a stock glock all day, but when it comes to something that could mean the difference between life and death in a situation, I'll take any and all advantages I can get... sorry but not looking for a fair fight when it comes to ever maybe having to use my carry gun

So just for fun. The shop I took the 19 to for a fix posted this up. Here is a picture of the firing pin liner that I had in my glock that was sent out and got back.

Now I would still recomend MOD-K, I think they did a great job on the custom work, but I'm a little disappointed that they put the liner back in looking the way that it did.

Decreased recoil, minimal tbh. But I did feel the gun working itself back on target faster
