Just put a solar panel on the roof. The last place I lived had no off street parking. There would be no way for my wife and I to charge our cars.
Then only drive 5 miles a month...

And the final Indian Point reactor will be going offline next month. Replaced by natural gas generators. Isn't that backwards?Might as well write an edict to start planting magic money trees and raising herds of unicorns that shit diamonds and piss oil.
Someone needs to ask these morons: How the hell do you think that you are going generate enough electricity to power millions of motor vehicles? You idiots have not licensed a nuclear power plant in over 50 years. You miscreants are banning fossil fuels. You jackasses are going to seriously hurt people who are unable to travel to seek medical services when their glorified golf carts' batteries have died in the dead of winter when the electric grid is down.
Wow what?

Coal generation went down significantly during Trump's term. It's an economic thing, not a regulation thing. LNG is just better. It's cheaper. It's more efficient. It's greener. It's just plain and simple a better fuel. See those blue and maroon trend lines, they tell the story. It's like cars vs. horse drawn buggies - cars are just objectively better transport.
This trend was present during Trump's term. This trend will continue during Biden's admin and who comes after him. Electric companies like fuels that are cheaper and more efficient than coal.
Barack Obama - 2008 said:“If somebody wants to build a coal-fired power plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them,” Obama said, responding to a question about his cap-and-trade plan. He later added, “Under my plan … electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”
That's an excellent point. The last place I lived had no off street parking. There would be no way for my wife and I to charge our cars.
You just need an extra long USB cable... problem solved. The last place I lived had no off street parking. There would be no way for my wife and I to charge our cars.
Tell me how all of the street-parking city dwellers will charge their vehicles. The last place I lived had no off street parking. There would be no way for my wife and I to charge our cars.
Did you read? I said Biden will, WILL trash coal or what’s left of it.Biden didn't trash coal. Economics did.
Look at your graph. You do know when Trump was elected right? 2016 if my memory serves me correct.Wow what?

Economics didnt ruin coal. Obama and his environmental plans did so China took it cheap. This is one of the main reasons Trump was elected.
I've said this before as well. All that power has to come from somewhere. And get to you somehow. That would require a massive overhaul of the electrical generation/grid. California already has rolling blackouts if they get a hot day. A stage 2 charger pulls 30-40 amps of 220. Roughly the equivalent of a central AC. What's going to happen when everyone comes home at 5:30 PM and plugs in their car? Where's all this new power going to come from? There is that minor detail of how we are going to get current electricity production to x5-x10 the current capacity.
Nobody is talking about that, the most important inconvenient truth.
Quite possibly none of these goons spent one single day at a basic physics class.
Ass smoke blowing at its best.
And to think I laughed when I first read the agenda 21 crap 20 years ago. I thought to myself how would they possibly get everyone to move to the cities? They give less than a shit about whether the power grid can support all these electric vehicles.
They don't want us owning cars or living places where driving is necessary in the first place.
They want us all in cities and on public transportation.
If the plants were closed they were not going to reopen them. And coal didn't make a comeback despite his friendly policies. That's how strong the economic forces behind the move away from coal are.
Wow we agree on something.I've said this before as well. All that power has to come from somewhere. And get to you somehow. That would require a massive overhaul of the electrical generation/grid. Electric cars have a whole host of other issues too. Massive and toxic batteries. Charging times. Cold weather performance. What if you live in a place without private parking for a charger? What if you rent and landlord won't put in a car charger - do you just not drive now? Etc. etc. etc.
At their current stage I see electric cars as a non-viable solution in search of a problem.
From the article as well. They won’t build new coal fired plants because some other politician can just say oh coal bad shut them down. Coal will never come back to what it was because of this. The sulfur scrubbing emissions standards are just too great. And coal didn't make a comeback despite his friendly policies. That's how strong the economic forces behind the move away from coal are.
One only has to look to the california gun rosterYou may keep your gas powered cars, you may buy out of state. You wanna bet these sneaky fucks will then prohibit you from registering them in New York?
