The courts are corrupt, the NRA is corrupt, NYSRPA is incompetent and corrupt, SCOPE lost their mind and has no balls. It's going to take a Herculean miracle to take unSafe out. I rogue meteor on Albany would help too.
I have family in PA in the most western part of the Poconos. I am out there quite a few times a year. After the first ammo background database scare that didn't take off, I bought a bunch of ammo in PA. Not once was I asked for any type of ID. It's nice to see in the future that gun owning New Yorkers will be contributing very well to PA's economy.
Huh, speaking of the S.A.F.E. act (oh yeah, FUAC!), where can I get a new yard sign in opposition to this commie debacle? Mine has faded to un-readable. My windmill, my tilt.

OP why bring up that somehow out of no where that people are going to be "limited on amount if ammo, tyle of ammo has to match guns they own "
Out of nowhere ? Huh ? The second post was added because I failed to put it in the original. That bit of information was in the introduction paragraph, not the body of the text sent to me. All I posted originally was the body of the message. The last paragraph of my second post was MY OPINION, but I thought people were smart enough to figure that out.
Wish i had a time machine.About now, every thing in life here in these United States are corrupt!
Yes. As I understand it, the proposed implementation of the background check for ammunition purchases that was part of NYSAFE contains a limit on purchases ( "X" amount per month ) , and that the ammunition you purchase must fit a weapon YOU own
How much room do you have? A few years back my wife and I were sitting in the dining room and noticed some cracks in the ceiling, my gun room is above the dining room! I now keep all my plinking/bulk ammo out in the garage.what is the limit one can stock up? I imagine like any ordinances there might be a limit for anything flammable.

I've seen them right there in Avon at the gun shop.Huh, speaking of the S.A.F.E. act (oh yeah, FUAC!), where can I get a new yard sign in opposition to this commie debacle? Mine has faded to un-readable. My windmill, my tilt.

OH I wouldn't be asking anybody town fire dept. or police about that at all! You start asking questions and people take notice the rumor mill cranks up and your door gets kicked at 4:00 AM and your dogs shot! The room is not a problem. The safe and storage is over a double steel beam so we are good.
Is this something the town could answer and the ordinances dictate in terms of powders or ammo?
I would expect they have a limit for gasoline and gas and other things too otherwise a crazy person might decide to store 100K gallons of gasoline in
a tanker in a residential area.

Not in the body of the text, and therefore it didn't get copied to the post, there was a statement to the effect that "...registration is included in the proposed system, and that the ammunition you buy will have to match one of your weapons, and there will be limits on the number of rounds you can purchase each month..."
FULL registration is now, and always was the original intent. Since this is a State system, the laws against FEDERAL REGISTRATION DO NOT APPLY. You can bet your ass that if you try to buy ammo for something you didn't tell them about, you'll be getting a flash-bang at 4:15 am. No, what I meant was, a kind and friendly knock on your front door at dinner time, or maybe just a friendly phone call where they will ask you about your purchase. Maybe not.
I am not planning in stocking up massively but I was courious because I dont really know.OH I wouldn't be asking anybody town fire dept. or police about that at all! You start asking questions and people take notice the rumor mill cranks up and your door gets kicked at 4:00 AM and your dogs shot!
I spoke to someone I know in the Governors office. He said he has not heard anything other than what went around in August (EXCLUSIVE: Stewart-Cousins calls out Cuomo over unfulfilled promise to create ammo database ) He did go on to say that he may not necessarily hear about gun legislation since he is involved in transportation but he will ask around.
