The ARs look compliant.
The guy with the green chest rig has a steeply angled grip ( MountainMan?) .
The other 2 rifles look like they may have no muzzle devices. Fixed mags?
One guy on another forum pointed out the the guy in pink boots looked like a mannequin in one pic.

I was on FB and saw a link to the New York State 2a Forum,
Popped over to see if there was anything worth reading...NOPE.
Lots of posts about 7rd capacity , pre-ban mags, open carrying rifles....nobody knows what is what.

You don't know if all 3 weapons are compliant and it was alleged they are not, thus getting a special treatment whining. I never said "most" or quantified how many people are not complying. As always you are unable to make a point without lying about what others say. Anyone can make a mistake now and then, but with you this goes on in every efing conversation. You are an adult, act like one.

Mosin, It seems to me that it is somehow important to you that the members of this community are not complying with the SAFE act. Why is that?

....because I see it as a plus, not only for the members of that community, but also RKBA in this state.
I am also very familiar with that community, did installation work in hundreds of their homes. Many of them were Holocaust survivors with interesting stories to tell. The father of my boss fought in Tito's army. They knew very well the difference between fascism and communism. They also have different factions with different views, come from different regions in Europe and don't always get along with each other.
They live in their own world and come across as weird, but in some ways they are more sophisticated and better people then those who poke fun at them.

I like them. Reasonable prices for a days work, always honest, polite and respectful. Always cash on the barrel head.

I often shoot at New Holland, PA and on my way back stop by Amish produce stands to bring something home. Don't know them well, but they come across as good people.

One last off-topic word.

A lot of them here. A lot of produce stands. They buy the old family farms here and acreage. If they knock on your door to buy it, and you name a price, you better be prepared to sell. They'll be back, with cash. They don't bs.

You can clearly see a Thordsen Gen 2 stock on one and a 10 round magazine on another. So it stands to reason that that they are compliant weapons. My post is pretty clear and accurate but you are on the defensive for being called out on the coward comment so whatever.

I like living in a country where people that could not exist where they came from can live in relative peace with their beliefs. My only beef with them is not really with them so much as the politicians that create laws that allow them to live almost their entire existence on the tax payers dime.

Religious organizations have always been tax exempt, due to non-profit charitable status.

Land used for agricultural purposes has always been exempt from, or given a huge break on property taxes, due to the fact that it was once how most people earned a living.

Farming is not now, nor has ever been a get-rich-quick scheme.

I can go through a list of how practically everyone uses the system to line their pockets, lawsuits, disability, unemployment insurance, overtime and so on. Lets not forget war profiteering. Using foreign policy as a bribery scheme. In the whole scheme of things they are a small fish, but very visible small fish.

No arguments from me. I would like it to stop, all of it. They are probably the most blatant abusers of the system though.
Like one son of a son of a farmer to me, you don't have to be a good farmer anymore, you just have to know the system and how to use it.

And, there we are. Everyone's had their say. We live in 2 totally different New York's. My County is bigger than the State of Rhode Island. I am surrounded by woods.

After being stationed at West Point, I hated that area. Newburgh was one of the biggest arm pits I ever saw. Standing on the old railroad bridge, in Poughkeepsie, over the Hudson, at night watching the world go by over a few beers, one of my fonder memories.

I don't have a clue what goes on in downstate cities. I do know that Cuomo is a political opportunist, with no shame.

I salute those individuals exercising their rights by carrying their rifles to protect their fellow men and women. Proves once again that no government on earth ever has, does or ever will guarantee your personal safety.

May be this will shed some additional light to the folks not in this area, Look at the main table and who ole Yossie Is wagging his fingers at, Its the NY state attorney general her self, The rockland County super visor along with all of the other Big Wig politicians of the area, Lister to what he is telling them , What I hear is if you don't kiss the Don Rabbi ring and show respect , start showing up at there events, start adding them to your facebook account , Don't expect a vote .
