At my age and physical abilities .. I do agree . The last place I would open a business would be in a high crime location... Now I could be called racist for saying so. The inner city would be the last place I would be on a normal day.. It is my impression from watching the news that is a high crime location. During times of unrest a powder keg. . I would not have any desire to insert my self into that situation.

If you run a business in a high crime area you obviously are at a higher exposure to shrinkage (loss of inventory or labor in business terms) and have potential legal liabilities if an employee is injured during a robbery or whatnot.
