I think Rittenhouse was stupid personally.. The FIRST law of self defense is never place yourself in a position where you will need to defend yourself, if at all possible... He went into an active riot zone , something most of us would NOT do .

He made himself a target, his second mistake... Young inexperienced kid, AR 15, leftist maniacs rioting ,looting ,burning,.. What could possibly go wrong???

He put himself in a very dangerous situation that could have gotten him killed...
That all being said, a normal sane person does NOT attack a man with a rifle in his hand, does not hit him with a skateboard, does not run after the guy and does not try to take the rifle from him.

Same with the moron with the illegal pistol.. You point a handgun at a man with a loaded rifle you better pull the trigger first, because he won't hesitate to shoot to save his own life.

Those wayward souls that were killed and the "lucky" one that survived [ the one with the loaded pistol ] with his arm blown off, were to blame for their fate... You do NOT chase, attack and corner a young man with a loaded AR in his hand.. If you do, there is a good chance you will be shot, and a good chance you will die.

Rittenhouse should have stayed away from the rioting, looting and burning.. However he had as much right to be there if he chose as the leftists/rioters did .

He also had the right to defend himself against violent thugs that tried to hurt/injure/kill him... They chased him ,were going to do violence to him, and he defended his life..

I think he would admit he should have stayed home that night and watched the riots on TV.

I am an old man now, and would never think of going into the sort of lunatic madness I see on TV these days.. However I was 17 once, and certainly might have been stupid enough at that time in my life to be exactly in the same predicament as Rittenhouse found himself.

I would wager that he's a lot less likely to inject himself into a precarious situation after what he's been through... In any case, justice was served, and I was 100% wrong on the verdict.. I was firmly convinced he would be made an example of ....The jury looked at the evidence, not at their emotions... Job well done...

Actually, deep down...after insulting, belittling, threatening, denying them a voice, stealing elections, forcing compliance with fascist diktat, and in some cases destroying average Americans (AKA "dirt people & Normies"), this is what they are scared of...

That is the long standing, long suffering now emerging truth. And it's starting to show in the recent round of gubernatorial elections. It showed in the jury of this trial, it showed when Rittenhouse did what he did. The left poked and poked and finally woke the sleeping bear. The fools.

If everyone "plays it safe" all the time, the giant flushing sound will continue.


The kid saw a problem in his community, and at great personal risk, he did something about it.

We need more of that, not less.
