The number one rule of law is, No matter the verdict, the lawyers always get paid. There are millions sitting in "go fund me" type accounts for Kyles legal fees. This is a cash cow for the attornies and it explains why they turned down free help from outside attorneys.
They could be sabotaging the case for reason number 1 and don't want any other lawyers to get a piece of reason #2 ,

1) a DWI charge from last January, or as 'they" call it, OWI (operating while intoxicated)
2) Felony possession of a firearm

If I were on the jury, I'd thoroughly believe Rittenhouse acted in self defense and vote "not guilty" on all charges. There's no way I could be convinced to find him guilty on lesser charges.

With the number of threats and harassment that has been laid on the Rittenhouse family, the judge, judges family and possible filming of the jury I'd like to think that they'd all push back and let all these bullies eat their teeth. This was basically the first riot where the rioters had opposition. I hope it's a trend.
