When are these available anyway?
That things reads like a Ruger ad.
This is far cheaper is it not? Also I thought the SCR was incompatible with PCC uppers? It's funny how everyone is drooling over this fudd gun but didn't over the ARES SCR.

Right. And this PCC is 9mm. They make those in AR formats too but for some reason the ARES was blah and this is God!SCR was 223 not pcc.

Don't misunderstand me. I'm not knocking this fudd option. I'm just making an observation. I'd buy one if I was in the market for one. When ARES released the SCR, there were already a few FUDD options in the same vein. The Saiga, SKS, Keltec and Ruger Mini 14 were available.
Currently, there's not a whole lot of FUDD PCC options out there unless you want to overpay for a used Ruger PC9/PC4 or a Marlin Camp.
IMO, most don't want to buy an AR PCC and stick it with a Thordsen. Or the AR platform doesn't have the same appeal as a PCC.
Personally, if I'm buying anything in the AR platform, I want it to shoot 5.56, 6.5 grendel, 6.8 or maybe even step up to .308.
Cool but ugly. I'd rather have the CMMG guard or the LWRC SMG when it comes out... oh wait...
The thing that really bothers me about those really submachiney looking PCCs is that I look at em and think "without full auto I'm really missing out on the point of this thing".I'd sell a kidney to have that LWRC as an SBR with a suppressor on it. 30 rounds of supressed 45 in a SMG size package with AR controls? I can't think of a better home defense gun IMO.
I wonder if Ruger will eventually make their carbine in a 45...
There is a shop that I have been to in Waterbury, VT that received them a couple days ago. They are selling them at $499! I was kind of expecting the price to be a little higher. When are these available anyway?
Cool. One of these is definitely on the short list. There is a shop that I have been to in Waterbury, VT that received them a couple days ago. They are selling them at $499! I was kind of expecting the price to be a little higher.
Of course, they will have the version with the evil threaded barrel and standard capacity magazine. Every time a stop in this place I leave just a little more annoyed that I can’t have what free America can.

Wow, hope it works out that way for you. That savings will buy you a few extra magazines. I keep reminding the guys I know at the local shop that I’m interested. The owner told me that he expects to get them and that he has had quite a few requests. I was actually thinking about adding a 10/22 takedown until I heard about this one. At some point I’m sure I’ll have both.I'm hoping the shop I just bought a Bodyguard from asks a price like that ($499..00) as they gave me 15% discount card off my next purchase!!
That's really the whole point of a PCC. It's a grab and go that shares ammo and magazines with your pistol so you can travel light.I never cared for the idea of a PCC until I got a chance to shoot my nephew's Kriss Vector. Damn that was fun. This being a take down would be nice in 40s&w, throw it in a back pack and go.
I would really love it if they came out with other pistol magazine adapters since I don’t have an SR9 or a Glock. An HK VP9 or 1911 conversion would be ideal.
This is actually the first I seen one in break down form, I never really looked at PCC's before because the idea never appealed to me. Until I got to run a few mags through the VectorThat's really the whole point of a PCC. It's a grab and go that shares ammo and magazines with your pistol so you can travel light.
I'm glad I saw this before I bought a bunch of the ETS happy sticks as I was planning to do. I'll go with the SGM mags instead. And its kind of a bummer that tools are needed to get the action out of the stock.
