Simple poll. Have you all made up your mind on the side you support?
I have friends from both places as well as others in the area. I support Ukraine as they are their own country and can do as they please. I understand Putins reasons but I dont support him.
I don't care about the politicians, I care about the average Ivan who has no use for corrupt governments. Some old Ukrainian lady just got creamed in her car by a Russian tank. Screw that shit. If the president of Russia has a problem with the president of the Ukraine, solve it the old fashioned way with dueling pistols or swords.I support Ukraine's independence, I hope Russia gets all the dirt on our dirty politicians and releases it. I don't care about either country.
Understood, but are you not concerned how it will effect our wallets? Fuel, food, etc... the costs will increase even more. If we had a stronger administration it may not have had to come to war. Because the world is a global trading market, we have to be involved with the world to some extent... Unless we could become completely self sufficient we will always have to be involved with the rest of the world."Not my problem."

Globalist will want to cause worldwideIf and this is a big if, Putin is doing things to hit the deep state players than I am all for it. As long as there is only damage to "their" system and way of doing business so to speak we would look back on this at some point and understand. Sadly there may be collateral damage but it would pale in comparison to the death and destruction the globalists have caused worldwide.
Things like this make me wonder if this is closer to the truth, or part of it.If and this is a big if, Putin is doing things to hit the deep state players than I am all for it. I get it, but this war will negatively effect us whether we support it, ignore it or any other option. But the fact is, we DON'T have a strong administration. We have an Administration that is hell-bent on eliminating fuel completely and driving up costs on everything else until we are all stuck as wage-slaves to their "New Deal".
It's hard to care about something thousands of miles away when we have problems right here, right now.
Honestly, part of me is hoping Russia seizes evidence of Xiden's corruption and shows it to the world.
But, either way, I'm having a hard time caring. Call it "unnecessary war burnout" if you wish.
But what if his intent isnt to find and expose such evidence but to find and destroy it? After all, it wasnt Trump colluding with the Russians, it was Clinton and the DNC.Honestly, part of me is hoping Russia seizes evidence of Xiden's corruption and shows it to the world.
Look at the Donbas as NY. Just because a large % of the population wants to be part of another country doesnt mean it should be. If a majority of NYers wanted to be part of Canada does that mean its ok? HELL NO, we are still US citizens.I understand why Putin felt backed into a corner. I understand they are nervous about NATO incrementally moving eastward directly to their border. If I was the Russian president I would probably feel similar.
I really don't care about the Donbass region. As an outsider looking in it seems most of them would rather be in Russia so I don't care.
But for the rest of Ukraine...
I really feel for the Ukrainian people though. They seem to want peace a democracy and to be aligned with the west. They seem like good people. Their country is invaded and their world has gone to shit.
Putin wanted a buffer zone between him and NATO and he thought he could take Ukraine. The Baltics and Finland should keep their eyes and ears open. Stack it deep boys.
My concern is what happens next. What happens if Putin isn't achieving his objectives and Ukraine beats him back. Will he up the ante and use tactical nukes or anything?
What if Ukraine drags NATO into this then are we starting at ww3?
None of it is good.
