According to Rensselaer county intructors (at least 10-12 if not more )if your car was broken into and someone stole your pistol you would have your permit revoked.
We have been told NOT to ever leave any pistols in the automobile. I guess a bolted down lock box would be ok. Anyways it seems like a double standard that the permit is for carry conceal yet restricted for some people. And if it's in the car it's not being carried concealed. Mine is unrestricted but if I go to the range with three pistols they are on me. It is very frustrating

I don't think anyone disagrees with you but rather they are pointing out the fact on what may happen when tbe judge finds out after the car is stolen or broken into.
Yup. In america I can ride on my byecycle with a rifle sporting a 100 round magazine strapped to my back whistling dixie whilst riding at excessive speeds. What is your decision to stay there based on?
Family mostly. We were given 5 acres of dream land to build our house on. We basically told my family we were thinking about moving out of the state and they offered the land as a bribe.
I think you are misunderstanding. It's a non issue having the pistols in your car. The issue arises when you leave your vehicle with your pistols still inside the vehicle, lock your vehicle and some one steals your vehicle or breaks in and steals your pistol. That is where the Judge can state you were not a responsible permit holder and revokes your permit. You have a "carry conceal permit". You don't have a "leave it in the locked car permit".
I understand but there is also no restricted to target and hunting law either
I am sure it all depends on the Judge. We have had issues with co registration. Some are ok with it and some are not. The State should allow it and not be independent of the Judge.
