CorrectRight, but they need special permission for ANY gun, not just a handgun. Yes?
NY has no special requirements for long guns, any non-prohinited person can buy one. Only for handguns does a NY resident need special permission.

Right, thats my whole point about NY being unique in that you don't need anything extra from the state for long guns, just handguns. Some states you need their ok for ANY gun. All of it is bullshit.Correct
And....20 states now have constitutional carry. Major disparity between states. But...hey...that's federalism.Right, thats my whole point about NY being unique in that you don't need anything extra from the state for long guns, just handguns. Precisely.And....20 states now have constitutional carry. Major disparity between states. But...hey...that's federalism.
Note: There probably should NOT be a disparity between states with regards to the exercise of natural rights.
If they have a 100 point spread, that means at least one of them is very inaccurate.I've seen spreads of hundreds of points on the same person on different bureaus.
I would need to see prove of this. Hundreds of points difference? C'mon now....
Guns are the only product that one states residents are prohibited from buying in another state. So If I was a NJ resident I wouldn't need a permit to buy a handgun in NJ

Would be interesting to see someone fight that in court.
Questions Presented | Thank you! I stopped advocating for NY 2A rights because of the ignorance of so-called 2A fighters that didn't know and when you explain it to them they look at you like dog watching a wolf howl on the TV. But my permit is for life they would say. Well NY SAFE changed that now didn't it. |
900. Just like tax stamps for drugs and machine guns. Oh, you mean you can't get a 900 credit score? Well, sounds like a sad day for you...And, a credit score over 800
It's not just up to Roberts though.I think it will be a loss. I think Roberts will use this to allow New York’s permitting permitting scheme to become a federal law.
Explain this.....im not even kidding...Average all 3? Not to get picky but you've just shown your hand. There aren't "3". There are 3 reporting agencies. Within those 3 there are countless models and they will all weigh and score out differently.
I guess the treasurer doesn't know this stuff after all..
Carry on.
Explain this.....im not even kidding...
I can maybe pull a screenshot if needed.
I was interested awhile ago so I went to Credit Karma to see my score.
It said my credit score was......4.......yes, four!!
Clearly a mistake, I have had perfect credit for over 30 years.
I recently got a loan for an $80,000 truck with very low intrest.
With a damn credit score of 4.
Maryland as well.So If I was a NJ resident I wouldn't need a permit to buy a handgun in NJ
Credit Karma is a total joke. I wouldn't be giving them my information. I've seen younger people come in thinking they have a great score then when I pull a real score they can't buy a pack of gum. Exactly the opposite of your situation. Just as scary though.Explain this.....im not even kidding...

Maryland and California have lists of approved handguns. Thats what the "permit" is for to purchase. The "permit" will not be denied as long as you pass NICS and the handgun is on the approved list. But they are keeping a registry there,, which is crap. This info is from my brother who's been living in Maryland for several years and has acquired firearms there.Maryland as well.
Says permit to purchase and carry.

Look like California too. This shit is confusing though in what you need to do. Wow!
Believe me, I have plenty of debt and I pay in full every month. It's a shell game.
Did you know that if you work hard, pay off all your debts, put money in the bank, pay any new debts immediately, your credit score will go to absolute shit?
It's true.
They WANT you on the revolving door of debt.
Your score is based on your debt. How much you have vs. the credit limit you have, how regularly you pay it, etc.
My credit score went from the high 700s to 720 because I HAD NO MORE DEBT for them to look at. None, zip, zilch, nada. no credit cards, no loans.
so I'm told "get a credit card and pay it off every month".
Guess what, you can't get an unsecured credit card unless you have debt. (was actually denied by Discover because "your credit score is too low")
so I get a secured card, $600 limit, to use only for gas, and pay it off every month.
My credit score went from 720 to 620!
Why? Because I used more than 30% of the limit.
think about this. a limit of $600, which can EASILY be paid off every month by anyone with a job, but because I used more than $180 I'm considered a high risk.
Theres also still the chance that we win this case without actually expanding or clarifying the scope of the 2A.Blackman said after four justices vote to take a case, what remains is to “haggle over” the question to be answered. The Court decided to limit the case to whether New York violated the plaintiffs’ Second Amendment rights by denying them a concealed carry permit instead of keeping the broader question of whether the Second Amendment generally protects the ability to carry a gun in public for self-defense. Blackman said the Court’s decision to rewrite the question was a bad sign for an expansive opinion from the Court.
“My optimism for a broad ruling lasted a grand total of 30 seconds until I saw that they granted a revised question,” he said. “Why did they do that?”
If SCOTUS stays true-to-form, and rules against this petition, then states can forevermore infringe on the second amendment and ban carrying of defensive firearms. The second amendment will be effectively voided by judicial fiat. This could backfire of course. They could rule that states can place their own restrictions on the Second Amendment. Then I say:: What is to stop states from forcing us to quarter National Guardsmen, or search without warrants, or beat confessions out of suspects, or make minorities ride in the back of the bus?

Theyrr more interested in how much available credit you're using these days. So don't close accounts with 0 balance. Keep them open, it adds to your total available credit and makes you look better. This is how my tax preparer CPA explained it to us a few years back.I had paid off 2 cards and closed the accounts a few months back, My credit dropped from 710 to 650. . OK, you play your games Ill play mine. I pay off 98 percent of two cards leaving 300 in each account. My credit is 760 now. Go fucking figure. So now I pay 50 bucks a month on them Until theyre paid off , then Ill buy 300 bucks worth of something. May even open another line of credit and do that too.
