My Mistake...wasn't Scotus ..
"An appellate court has struck down a 53-year-old federal law that bars handgun sales to anyone younger than 21, setting up a potential Supreme Court case."
":A three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Richmond, Virginia, said Tuesday that the law, enacted by Congress in 1968, violates the Second Amendment."
NOPE!or helped writing it .. to drop some of there NYS lawsuits heat
Of the 56 Directors that showed for the Executive Meeting, only one voted against Wayne, and at the Annual Meeting once again there was an overwhelming vote of Confidence for him., but let's not drag the NRA hate out in this thread, we've got enough to contend with without supporting the destruction of the entity our enemies want to destroy.
Or...out of the 76 directors who are mostly hand picked by Wayne, only 55 bothered to show up and vote for him.Of the 56 Directors that showed for the Executive Meeting, only one voted against Wayne, and at the Annual Meeting once again there was an overwhelming vote of Confidence for him., but let's not drag the NRA hate out in this thread, we've got enough to contend with without supporting the destruction of the entity our enemies want to destroy.
Lol. Postings like this give legislators ideas. You are 100% right, at least about Billy Bob Murphy. Yes he would love to take it all away too. However, at least for now, Jersey has a very pro 2nd amendment Republican senator?, or maybe another branch, not 100%, but that is definitely above Murphy in position. Murphy knows that anything that tries to be put forth that would be considered extreme gun control, or against 2nd amendment, would be knocked down and never make it thru.
Unlike NY, which is left and blue at EVERY level, hence why ANY bullsh@t will get thru. For now, in Jersey you are allowed to have a pistol grip on your AR 15 sporting rifles, or AK platforms. You still cannot have more than 10 rounders. You DO need a pinned, and non adjustable stock. Also, DO need a pinned and welded muzzle break, or nothing on your barrel, but it then cannot be threaded on the end. For pistols/handguns, everyone needs a pistol permit. Each pistol permit is valid for 30 days, meaning that in theory the most handguns or pistols, if you get and time the permits perfectly, would be 12 per year.
The biggest thing, i feel, is that they still allow a pistol grip on the semi's. Also "others" are very much a thing in Jersey. I know of 3 gun shops i frequent that have em on display for sale always, right in the open. I have a troy other in 5,56 and an IWRC IC-OSCAR FOXTROT, or "other", in 5.56, both bought legally from reputable shops.
but let's not drag the NRA hate out in this thread

Who the fuck would ever buy a Bushmaster, for real.Buffalo Shooter used a Bushmaster XM-15
Obviously the ones that don't know shit, and just order from a manufacturer. Bushmaster, and Daniel defense were used by the last 2 idiot kids. They could built equal or better for less than half the cost.Who the fuck would ever buy a Bushmaster, for real.
Kids buy Poverty Ponies, or Anderson. Not a fucking Bushmaster.
Odd that nobody, in the history of ever, anywhere, has used a Spike's.
I will suggest that this demonstrates that their choice is proof that they are products of CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, whatever, marketing.Obviously the ones that don't know shit, and just order from a manufacturer. Bushmaster, and Daniel defense were used by the last 2 idiot kids. They could built equal or better for less than half the cost.
and like it or not it's likely Constitutional.
Elections have consequences.
Not being a NRA Member gives you no cause to complain; Not your Pig, not your Farm.not a nra member .. but i tried searching for the current board members names .. got nothing
my dad was .. and if he was still here he would want his $$$ back
I'm not a member of ANTIFA, but that doesn't mean I don't have a right to complain when they burn down a city. Not being a NRA Member gives you no cause to complain; Not your Pig, not your Farm.
The Media (Newspapers, TV, Internet, etc.) CONSTANTLY get Gun issues/reports wrong, and are no friend to gun owners, hell they won't even run stories about the Friends of the NRA Events that donate the proceeds back to Youth Shooting Sports and Training.
Democrats/Left is constantly blaming the NRA for not getting their way with anti-gun Legislation, and when a Gun Crime occurs the pundits all cry "it's the NRA's fault." while conveniently ignoring the fact the Association is made up of Millions of Gun owners, some of which actually get involved a bit more than posting on the interwebz or forwarding a pre-written e-mail.
There are people in and out of Public Office with anti-gun agenda's insisting THEY'RE going to "take the NRA down" right through the NRA is the Deeble.
And now you too want to believe what you've heard on TV or read on the 'net whole cloth from people who'd like nothing more than to destroy the Second Amendment? Pogo had it right: "I have seen the enemy, and he is us."
Many are still pissed about the SAFE Act, and the current legislation adds to the fire, and yet little to nothing is done about it besides bitch, moan, and comply? Must be it's easier to blame the NRA than accept our own failings...yea, that Dog won't hunt.
The NRA and it's Representatives had nothing to do with the Legislation that passed.I'm not a member of ANTIFA, but that doesn't mean I don't have a right to complain when they burn down a city.
My Synology server can hold that and more... all depends on bit rate and dpi.The bill about requiring dealers to maintain 2 years of video surveillance is impossible.
there is no security system that stores recordings for 2 years…
This is disgusting
I don’t attack the NRA, but I won’t give them a dime as long as Wayne and his buds are in charge. I’m not paying for his suits. We live in a state the NRA wrote off a long time ago. They don’t deserve our support. The NRA and it's Representatives had nothing to do with the Legislation that passed.
When you call Schumer's or Gillibrand's Office to register your opposition to proposed Federal Legislation do you really think they're going to give a shit? "OK, thank you for calling, we'll register your opposition...." and then do exactly what they and the Democrats want to do.
Is the real reason for attacking the NRA (and/or any other Political Group) the fact they didn't ride in with a Bus load of Lawyers and put a stop to this? Should we have had a huge rally at the last minute to mull around waving signs and tearing up the Lawn? Perhaps a few hundred should have stormed the Capital building demanding a halt? I haven't the answer, but blaming the very people we cry to for help isn't the answer.
Oh, and as for antifa; not too many people did a damn thing about that either, except maybe for Rittenhouse and he spent a year in Jail harshly treated because he was convicted by the Media and made an example of by the Democrats in control.
I hear you FP1202..... we are good at shooting our own on info we get from places we hate. Great post. BTW, if it really came to revolution how many here would actually fight, not many I imagine, many have too many possessions to loose. I have 5 great grandfathers who fought in the revolutionary war (2 with my last name, one of those died in the war) two first cousins (many times removed) actually signed the declaration. Would I fight? I wonder, it is in my blood so I think I would. But that day will never come, we are too comfortable and weak. The NRA and it's Representatives had nothing to do with the Legislation that passed.

I believe it was the same gun used by Sandy hook shooter. ... Would be interesting to find out the serial numbers on both guns...Buffalo Shooter used a Bushmaster XM-15
I am an NRA life member, but I have no problem with anyone criticizing them, they deserve it.The NRA and it's Representatives had nothing to do with the Legislation that passed.

Likely so, I've heard it for years, and Presidents, Directors, and all sorts of people have come and gone over the last hundred plus years. Some Legislation I disagree with, some is agreeable and that said I'd rather people that know of what they speak and do so without interjection of personal opinions writing Laws. Look at the shit we have and are getting in NY: do you really thing staffers from Assemblymembers Offices are contacting or even accepting suggestion let alone directions from anyone in the NRA? Ironically enough if just one person spoke to the Legislator or Committee Chair about the Law being proposed changes could be sold. When you hold the majority you hold the power and you can tell the other side to piss off or you can compromise, and that requires give & take from both sides.I am an NRA life member, but I have no problem with anyone criticizing them, they deserve it.
They wrote half the gun control laws we suffer under.
If you really wanted to you would manipulate them into making things ineffective, or legally challengeable.Likely so, I've heard it for years, and Presidents, Directors, and all sorts of people have come and gone over the last hundred plus years. Florida after Parkland instituted some heavy handed measures and even though Governor Scott did not want them, the People wanted action so they got it... He even told the NRA he was going to sign it, had to, and the best he could offer was for the NRA to Sue the State.
Who in monitoring her hate.....? she is full of hate!
I don’t think you are correct on that one. I know for pistol permits, it’s in the law that an officer can demand to see it. A lot of this new law was cut and paste semi-automatic rifle into the statues . It could be there too.No probable cause to assume the full featured AR the guy has at the public range isn't properly registered too.
And nothing in the law that requires the owner to carry or provide such documentation absent a warrant either.
Claiming that seeing a guy with an AW is probable cause it is unregistered is tacit admission that most of them aren't.
The guy that made the Suits admitted in Court that he LIED about them. Know where a lot of money, help, and legal advice for the SCOTUS case came from? The NRA. There are plenty of members that have and do plenty in NY, just because they don't ride in on a white horse or write Press releases doesn't mean there isn't anything being done, truth is if they could turn the tide of NY's anti-gun Laws I'd gladly send them every month what a Membership costs, but there aren't the ones writing and passing Laws, best they can so is support like minded candidates and contact Legislators, something ALL OF US should be doing.... Really, do you think they're some uber or magic NGO that has control and reign over the Legislator or Congress? Exactly who is the NRA? What do they do? What are their missions? Is it all about the guys bitching about NY getting fucked over by Democrats they do nothing more than vote against?I don’t attack the NRA, but I won’t give them a dime as long as Wayne and his buds are in charge. I’m not paying for his suits. We live in a state the NRA wrote off a long time ago. They don’t deserve our support.
Exactly. The media and anti gun politicians speak of the money that the NRA has. The anti-gun PACs outspend the NRA almost 5 to 1. Its the membership that gives it any powerNot being a NRA Member gives you no cause to complain; Not your Pig, not your Farm.
