Once the Constitution is rendered useless, these asshats lose any and all authority they think they have, and have no other recourse but to rely on force.

Elections still rely on the Constitution. Without it, the elections are just political theater.

There are people in and out of Public Office with anti-gun agenda's insisting THEY'RE going to "take the NRA down" right through the NRA is the Deeble.

When you call Schumer's or Gillibrand's Office to register your opposition to proposed Federal Legislation do you really think they're going to give a shit? "OK, thank you for calling, we'll register your opposition...." and then do exactly what they and the Democrats want to do.
Is the real reason for attacking the NRA (and/or any other Political Group) the fact they didn't ride in with a Bus load of Lawyers and put a stop to this? Should we have had a huge rally at the last minute to mull around waving signs and tearing up the Lawn? Perhaps a few hundred should have stormed the Capital building demanding a halt? I haven't the answer, but blaming the very people we cry to for help isn't the answer.
Oh, and as for antifa; not too many people did a damn thing about that either, except maybe for Rittenhouse and he spent a year in Jail harshly treated because he was convicted by the Media and made an example of by the Democrats in control.

BTW, if it really came to revolution how many here would actually fight, not many I imagine, many have too many possessions to loose. I have 5 great grandfathers who fought in the revolutionary war (2 with my last name, one of those died in the war) two first cousins (many times removed) actually signed the declaration. Would I fight? I wonder, it is in my blood so I think I would. But that day will never come, we are too comfortable and weak.

I am an NRA life member, but I have no problem with anyone criticizing them, they deserve it.
They wrote half the gun control laws we suffer under.
Likely so, I've heard it for years, and Presidents, Directors, and all sorts of people have come and gone over the last hundred plus years. Some Legislation I disagree with, some is agreeable and that said I'd rather people that know of what they speak and do so without interjection of personal opinions writing Laws. Look at the shit we have and are getting in NY: do you really thing staffers from Assemblymembers Offices are contacting or even accepting suggestion let alone directions from anyone in the NRA? Ironically enough if just one person spoke to the Legislator or Committee Chair about the Law being proposed changes could be sold. When you hold the majority you hold the power and you can tell the other side to piss off or you can compromise, and that requires give & take from both sides.
Florida after Parkland instituted some heavy handed measures and even though Governor Scott did not want them, the People wanted action so they got it... He even told the NRA he was going to sign it, had to, and the best he could offer was for the NRA to Sue the State.

I don’t think you are correct on that one. I know for pistol permits, it’s in the law that an officer can demand to see it. A lot of this new law was cut and paste semi-automatic rifle into the statues . It could be there too.
The guy that made the Suits admitted in Court that he LIED about them. Know where a lot of money, help, and legal advice for the SCOTUS case came from? The NRA. There are plenty of members that have and do plenty in NY, just because they don't ride in on a white horse or write Press releases doesn't mean there isn't anything being done, truth is if they could turn the tide of NY's anti-gun Laws I'd gladly send them every month what a Membership costs, but there aren't the ones writing and passing Laws, best they can so is support like minded candidates and contact Legislators, something ALL OF US should be doing.... Really, do you think they're some uber or magic NGO that has control and reign over the Legislator or Congress? Exactly who is the NRA? What do they do? What are their missions? Is it all about the guys bitching about NY getting fucked over by Democrats they do nothing more than vote against?
