not according to every study I saw. The 1994 Assualt weapons ban had no significant effect on crime. And the '94 ban only passed because it would not pass at all unless there was a "sunset clause".
Feinstein has said, on numerous occasions that no new law would have prevented any of the last mass shootings.

Once they have us unarmed, then they will have true total control of the law abiding population.
