If you are going to bend your finger 50-70 degrees which would be required to fire a pistol, it is going to happen regardless of what holster you use. How do we prevent that? Knowledge and training. It is automatic for me to properly index my finger before or as I pick up a gun. It doesn't even require a thought. Just like I don't have to think about breathing. It just happens.I know deep down inside nobody really here is stupid. Nobody here really honestly thinks that they will grip the pistol the same each and every time when fighting and there is a serious potential for error under those situations.
If you were to be honest and say,”Well yes. That is a serious possibility. I just hope that it doesn’t happen and I will do my best to hope that I don’t do it. I just like the holster despite it’s flaws.” then I could respect that. But to say that it can never happen is a lie to yourself and it’s transparent. It’s the mark of a weak minded individual that lets ego rule them.
