This whole thread reminds me of a USPSA tournament I did a few years ago in PA. The guy who organized the event was the typical tactical clown, first to shoot with his tricked out competition CZ, went to insert a new magazine with one in the chamber and cracked off a round over the berm, disqualified himself immediately, but I’ll give him credit for owning his mistake of hitting the trigger when he was not on target ready to shoot, he didn’t try making any lame excuses or blaming his equipment he knew he fucked up and owned it. Then he did it again the following month, There was also a neck beard so focused on his stage time that he fumbled getting his gun out of his holster dropping it muzzle pointing behind the line, that was the last time I drove out to that tournament to shoot with such highly trained individuals.

Seems pretty straight forward on how they intend the holster to be used, again if you put your finger on the trigger drawing the pistol your using it wrong and that’s your problem not the holster.

It comes down to knowing your equipment, training with it, using it properly, and keeping your fingers off the trigger till ready to fire, and not making bullshit excuses on why it’s the holsters fault that you shot yourself Tex Grebner style

So the guy above acknowledges what could happen when people make a mistake and then says to not make mistakes. So much fail in that logic. Every mistake I have ever made was intentional. The time when I was distracted and chit chatting with the guy next to me on the range and I put down my XDS and grabbed my 1911 and shot it with my safety on. That was an intentional mistake. Or the time when doing mag dumps for the sole purpose of reloading practice when 1 magazine out of 10 was loaded backwards. That’s was an intentional mistake too.

All mistakes anyone ever makes are intentional. So in reality, no one ever makes mistakes.

I love mine. especially while working around the farm, riding tractors, plowing, atv'ing, spraying the orchards. shoveling shit and dirt, Works absolutely amazingly for around the farm and property work time.

I practice with it regularly, and have never come close to an AD.

Maybe the police should get tractors when they use the Serpa holster. Because we all know a tractor makes any stressful situation a little more calmer. You going to approach a vehicle at a car stop with 3 MS13’s inside, do so on a tractor.

Good luck dude.. people just for some reason love trash gear and will fight tooth and nail to justify bad designs (especially when they spent money on said gear)

Dont forget I apparently have also never seen or used one, but also screwed up (I'm guessing he is implying I've had an ND hahaha)

Oh well this bores me like I mentioned just a few posts ago, I could care less about these 2 serpa apologist my only hope is maybe someone else who still has one of these or someone who thought about getting one somehow read this and decided to do their own research and be smart and choose a better option (I mentioned a few in this thread specifically even by model number)

You've been almost obsessive with this topic. You make assertions that you are a SERPA expert, despite never owning one, and you just don't cut your losses and move on.

It's akin to how worked up, and insistent you are that you know more than others, who actually own, use, and train with the SERPA without problems.

Correct. When things go right and you are thinking about what you are doing. The problems come about when you do not think about what you are doing. That usually happens when distracted and or under stress. Do you know how many safety rules go out the window and poor weapons handling techniques arise due to stress in a combat environment with professional soldiers everyday. Guys that think they are shit hot like yourself? Guys that train much more than you do?
