I used to run around with realistic water guns and cap guns too before they became taboo.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo voiced his outrage over the shooting too, but also issued a damning indictment of Washington and the Trump administration for failing to take a hard-line stance on gun-control and against the NRA.

'My heart breaks for the victims of the horrific shooting in El Paso earlier today,' Cuomo began.

'While President Trump cowardly kowtows to the NRA, the gun violence epidemic is tearing apart our nation and people are dying.

'Thoughts and prayers will not stop this madness. In New York, we stand up to the NRA. We stand up for the safety of children. We stand up for sanity.

'It's past time leaders in Washington did the same. Until they do, these senseless murders will continue,' Cuomo added.

1. FuAC is truly a moron if he thinks that the NRA is the root of the issues with mass shootings. I'm pretty confident when I say that no NRA member has been involved or the actual perpetrator of these heinous events and even the ones within the last 3-5 years.

2. The gun violence epidemic only seems to play into their narrative when it suits them. Where is all the outrage in regards to the black on black shootings going on in Chicago on the daily? Why do these mass shootings/active shooter situations conveniently seem to crop up when the leftists lose traction on their whole "Gun Control" debate or when they need national headlines from their puppet media outlets on the crux of the Democratic debates?

3. Again, the NRA has nothing to do with promoting mass shootings/active shooter situations so to state "thoughts and prayers will not stop this madness" is an empty statement. Also as Prambo stated, FuAC and sanity does not mesh, neither does leftist and sanity.

4. "Until they do, these senseless murders will continue" Maybe he should ask the Clintons, the Deepstate and his party to stop killing innocents.

I grew up with much the same attitude. Shit Doom came out as I was entering High School. I think what has changed, other than the graphics being more realistic, is the lack of knowing/being taught the difference between fantasy/fiction and reality. Those lines have blurred. Social media also plays a small part in that we are now all hooked up to everyone else's "greener grass" (fantasy). Now we get to see how "great" everyone else is doing in life. Even if other people aren't doing so good. Those inclined to keep up appearances are likely to act as if and post it as if.

Not all the time. Only in the summer. In the winter, I played video games. Violent ones too. Doom, Soldier of Fortune, The Immortal, Mortal Combat ect.

I agree with the above statement 110%. I grew up running around my local park and during Boy Scout trips in military fatigues and toy guns playing "Soldier".

I don't know how old you all are, but I'm betting to say probably older than myself at 41. The big difference I believe is the following:

Good parental units/family structure
Instilling of family values/morals
Education institutions of old actually educated rather than brain washing leftist agendas ultimately weakening children's ability to self solve and deal with social/life issues like bullying.
