Well, the root cause is mental health but the simple fact is that after adjusting for population size the mass shootings in the USA are much higher than in other western nations. You can debate what the appropriate resolution is but in no other western nation can young men (the primary instigator of these events) so easily get semi automatic rifles, which are generally the gun used in the most egregious events.

For those saying the answer is armed security you’re wrong unless that security is walking around with a rifle, and protected in a manner to prevent being snuck up on and dispatched first. Tops had armed security and he failed to stop the slaughter.

It isn't the object thats the problem. Mental health and the fact the young adults and kids are brought up by an educational/indoctrination system that tells them that whatever goes wrong in their life is someone else's fault. Instead of allowing kids to fail we teach them that their failure is the fault of someone else and that the blame lies with others and so does your anger.
Critical thinking, accepting personal responsibility for your actions are not taught today. We force equality and equity on the kids at an early age with things like participation trophies and as they grow and fail with real life, they lash out at the system that they believe let them down.

This is by design.

We are in the middle of a psychological war that started decades ago with each generation pushed further and further until.....

I will start by saying that I am glad this shooter, this POC shooter is dead. Yep, I went there. None of the Elected Elite will talk about the skin color the way they did with the White Piece of Shit here in Buffalo. Sure, the guy in Buffalo was a racist pig and his motives were know. We may or may not find out the Motives of the Texas shooter.

I am a gun guy, maybe a gun nut. I support the 2A and the Constitution. I do believe in some regulations, what exact regulations? I am not sure. I am positive that there are some that I would and do agree with. If someone was to propose a law or a regulation that would end this kind of disgusting action, I would support it.

There are many things that can be done to stop or slow school shootings; very few want to do these things. I'll come back to this....

In Erie County, our Executive, received a few threats via Social Media; he instantly received round the clock security protection from the Sheriff Department. He is a low ranking nothing and he is protected. A blind retarded monkey could probably do his job.

The Secret Service spends 100's of 1000's of dollars to protect a 52 year old Crackhead and pedophile, his name is Hunter. But, we do nothing to protect children in schools.

Millions and millions of dollars are spent each year to secure the Capitol building and the 535 elected elite. From what? Round the clock protection.

I was speaking with a friend of mine earlier today on the phone. I was so angry when speaking with him, I used words and phrases that I normally leave out of conversations, I could not seem to control the words. Sorry...

Here in NY State, we are getting ready to spend nearly a BILLION fucking dollars on a GD stadium for a billionaire. The State has allocated ONE BILLION dollars to put a freaken dome over a section of road that has existed in its current form for near fifty years. A BILLION DOLLARS!!


These are my proposals in no particular order....

Armed and trained Peace Officers in all schools. Peace Officers in schools without their hands being tied by the wussy Libtards of America.

Metal Detectors. They work. It is that simple.

Arm teachers that want to be armed while at school. Training, good and honest training paid for by the School district.

Limited entrances to enter and exit the school unless there is an emergency. At my sons HS, if a student leaves and wants to reenter, they can only do so at two different doors. They must announce first and last name and they need to be buzzed in.

Roving patrols by Local Law Enforcement, at the beginning of school, at the end of the school day and a staggered amount of patrols throughout the day.

A seriously confidential tip line that students can address real concerns with school officials. Have someone trained to look at these concerns.

There are many parents that do not work while school is in session, if they want, allow them to do a neighborhood type watch during the school day. They would need to be vetted and have some training.

We do indeed have a gun problem in the US. Some of that problem is the archaic laws in many places. So many in the US see guns as a Taboo item and shy their kids from them. Parents choice. But maybe a bit of real education on the subject would help. I have never tabooed my guns from my children; they are just tools to them. It is a tool that has a purpose. The slaughtering of innocent children is not a use of that tool.

I do not know if we have a Mental Health crisis in America, the elected seem to think we do but use very little resources to curb this issues. Build more MH centers and keep people locked up as long as needed.

I can go on more, the more I type, the more pissed I am getting.

I am going to jump to Twitter now and troll Liberals....

The shooter in buffalo most likely had no idea there was an armed guard.

These nutjobs go for the notoriety. Adam lanza supposedly kept a spreadsheet of other mass shootings. Clearly these assholes are getting off on the media feeding frenzy that follows these events.

Armed guards may not stop them all but common sense would indicate these nutjobs might think twice about targeting schools if they knew a credible deterrent existed.

This might just push future nutjobs towards other soft targets like supermarkets or shopping malls.

Switzerland has high rates of gun ownership but nowhere near the level of mass shootings. So it's not the guns - it's the culture. A sick subculture that almost glorifies these events with obsessive 24/7 media coverage.

Why was anyone able to open a door to a school and just walk in?

Standard passive defense protocol should require all doors to be locked from the outside (and only able to be opened from the inside). Any door that is opened, that is not supposed to be opened, should set off an alarm (at least in a security office so that a patrol can check out the security breech).

Access to school buildings should be well controlled through checkpoints where guards are suitably equipped and are not just senior citizens asking to see identification.

I am so upset at how we protect the "elite" in our country while leaving the rest of us, especially our children, defenseless.

Mass murders should create a clarion call for arming the law-abiding population. We should not surrender ground to those who are protected at our expense while they craft legislation to render us evermore vulnerable to criminals and monsters in our midst.

Interesting, the mayor of Uvalde was recently on Tucker Carlson complaining about the rising crime rate in the city. Which of course was caused by Jotato's open border policy. The mayor was saying that the cartels moving drugs through the area and all the illegals was driving up the crime rate. Wonder if the misunderstood youth was involved with the cartels earning money.

I have been to Switzerland, like in Israel (been there too) security walks around in full armor and with AR's.... They bring guns to knife fights not the other way around like we too much have it here for our LEOs...

I've mentioned this year's back schools should be harder to get into than a jailhouse or courthouse with the money this country waste on Bullshit pork projects and other countries not counting the amount the political hacks shave off for them selves! Schools should have more protection than Fort Knox but nope only the privilege few get those protections :mad:
