The West Webster NY shooting was done by a man that pushed his grandmother down the stairs and beat her in the head with a hammer over I believe 60 times .. He was let out to kill again and Cuomo used this killing to defend his support of the safe act. We got boned because some liberal judge lets a crazy out. ... To kill again... We got the safe act. Now we get all these new gun laws because someone could not turn a door knob.

The Texas city’s Consolidated Independent School District held the training session to “prepare as best as possible” for exactly the type of situation that took place earlier this week.
The Uvalde CISD posted about the training session on Facebook on 22 March.
And no one knew these doors don't lock after doing a drill.....

Girlfriend worked in a school and said classroom doors do not have locks on them .... Kids would be locking out the teachers. Teachers would barricade the door in a school drill. One would think the police would be aware of this information.... If this was true in Texas.

When I was in school, we didn't even have walls for most of the classes LOL. Dozens of classes with only book cases and blackboards between them.
It worked fine, but you could launch a spitwad over into the adjoining classes.
Geneseo in the 80s was a great place to grow up LOL.

This comes very close to saying "we knew he was going to do this", and coupled with the complete lack of any attention that might have prevented this tragedy, hints that they WANTED this kind of thing to happen.

All the kids going to the new school are too young to remember the event.
They could have accomplished just as much by locking the doors for 6 years then giving it a good cleaning and fresh coat of paing.

I don't give the officers in the hallway a pass at all. The department's own written doctrine is clear and that is to make entry. Even with one officer on scene. How any officer can sit in that hallway, geared up, while children are bleeding out is beyond me. To me that's just a convenient excuse. Cowards. What they needed to find was courage.
