Really dude this video is from March of they were all early pistols, prior to the running changes.

No. I'm no engineer. But I read a lot. And if you read a lot and do research on what causes primer drag, you'll see that it's a timing issue. The barrel is tilting up before the case is extracted.
It's supposed to extract the case first and then tilt up. Sure it's working for now. But repeated strikes on the rim of the case by the striker will eventually cause failure to the striker. It could be now or 500 rounds later or thousands of rounds later. Beefing up the striker isn't a fix. It's a duct tape band aid.
You can willfully ignore that because you just like it. No skin off my bones. I'll wait until a future generation doesn't have that problem.
Here IS an engineer that tests it. His gun is just fine from Jan 18' Here is your internets @Willjr75

He says that the striker drag is still there with the new striker. The spent cases he shows had the striker dragging all the way to the rim.
He does say that the new striker is holding up but he still won't be carrying it.

I sure did. I had it playing while I buzzed cut my hair with clippers. Rewound it a few times too. He says that with the new striker it's holding up but he still won't carry it.

Conjecture. There's no scientific proof that what he says is accurate. That's like me saying that your Sig's striker will break at exactly 6892 rounds. There's no way to predict when it will. Plenty of Shields have surpassed that number.

Of course, He pretty much praises it. States how it is a 20,000 rd gun all day where the shield is not. Ayoob also states after his testing there is nothing wrong with his also. So now we have a well respected Firearms instructor with an Engineer in the P365's corner and you have Kitchen table man.. LOL!

Please don't quote Ayoob. This is a guy that says that aftermarket parts are bad thing. He advocates the carrying of some rounds that perform poorly and don't even pass FBI specs. He praises the crush grip in contrast to the thumbs forward that has been proven to provide superior control. And as Edward posted, he recommends the heavier NY trigger which is an oxymoron since he says not to modify your carry gun.
He is an old leftover of the revolver days. Take what he says with a grain of salt.
