Dealer told me last week cannot order the P365XL in NY, or the other 6 or so states with mag restrictions, due to Sig not making a 10 rounder for this pistol. Not yet, hopefully.

I think the slide controls removal was unnecessary. Nobody will pocket carry it in a pocket without a holster anyway.
The sights whether you like those type of sights is a preference thing. I’ve also never heard of sights snagging coming out of a pocket holster.
My opinion. Gimmick. The original design was good enough.

Yeeeeaaahhh. Lost all interest in the SAS model now. Jacked up sight zero and the control situation are not at all appealing HOWEVER It seems as if SIG has finally gotten the issues of the P365 addressed. Finally. Still I would think I would go for the XL, keep my Shield for when I want a very thin, compact gun and the G19 for a duty gun.
It will have to wait awhile though. I have made getting a 5.56 "pistol" the #1 priority. I desperately need a discreet truck gun before the commie SJWs lose their shit in 2020. Still targeting that Ace pistol.

I think the worst is that the sight is non adjustable. It can come from the factory dead on but you may have to tweak it a bit for yourself.
When I first got my Glock 26, I thought it was off shooting about an inch left at 10 yards. I had the range officer shoot it. It was dead on for him. Anyway, I tried and tried but no matter what I did, I was always a bit left. Even during very deliberate slow fire resting my elbows on a table. After multiple visits with the same result, I got a sight pusher and adjusted the rear a bit.
The problem for me was gone. With this non adjustable sight, I would have to sell the gun if it didn’t shoot center for me.
