No no they dont.
If they do it's because the gun is around the 20-30k round count and its normal wear and tear like springs

You are making it a Glock war when it isn't. I never had failures on either my 1911, Springfield XDS, or Glock 26 after I don't know how many rounds. I didn't experience and broken trigger springs, firing pins, ect. The only issue I ever had was on the 1911 with the original 40 year old recoil spring causing issues. Those issues went away after replacing the spring.
I want the 365 to be reliable. If it was, I'd replace my Glock 26 with it. But it isn't there yet.

I gave it to my sister in Florida since it was given to me by my dad and I don't want NY to control it's fate. It was my first carry. Colt Series 70. Back then I was a .45 fan until research showed me the caliber's limitations that I wasn't aware of.

To everyone here that bought a P365, I hope it provides you with thousands of rounds of reliable service. By all means, please keep us posted. Like I say, I'm waiting in the wings on this one.

I've got compact and subcompact Glocks. I've got the compact Springfield XDs in 9mm. I've got a Sig P238 and a full-sized Sig Tacops 1911. I really like the fit-and-finish and the out-of-the-box sights on the the XDs. I like the form factor and weight of the Glock 43. It's worked great at several concealed carry courses. I really like the size of the Sig P238 and the Glock 42 for pocket pistols. The Sig 1911 is my best shooter of the bunch. Firearms are tools. I've got no specific brand loyalty. That said, I've watched the videos and read the reviews about the P365. there is no doubt that the first iterations of the P365 have issues. I learned about "primer drag" while watching the P365 videos. I understand that firing pins can break if they're from batches of defective material. Any new, or redesigned, pistol can have trigger issues. That said, I'm going to wait a bit before I purchase a P365. I genuinely hope that the issues on the latest batches have been resolved. I'd like nothing more than to read that many now have 2K+ rounds down the pipe without an issue. Once I start reading that, I'm in.

Did it really? I got mine just a few years ago. By then any problems must have been worked out and the consensus was that the Shield was GTG.
It certainly has given me excellent service these last 2 years.
I sincerely hope the P365 follows the same arc.

Go to the S&W forum and read the many threads on Shield issues, mostly with the strikers. Some issues with FTE and OOB. Of course not all Shields had a problem, much like not all 365’s have any issues.
I was in the market for a Shield until the 365 came out. It’s a game changer imo.
To add, I’m no Sig fanboy, this is my first one ever.

The Shield and others did not have these levels of problems. A failure to feed or a brass to face is not the same as numerous firing pins breaking, striker drags, and trigger springs breaking. Those are catastrophic failures. Not growing pains or failures that go away after being broken in.
Sig fanboys or those that aren't but bought one need to be honest with themselves that those issues aren't the same. Sure. Some work great but too many don't. It isn't growing pains. It's poor quality control.

All’s I know is a dealer down here got a palletful, and within two weeks they’re all gone. Yes, they had early issues, corrected afaik. That’s why I waited to buy one.
