Got to shoot mine for the first time today. Put about 200 rounds through it both 115 gr FMJ and 124 gr HST. No issues with anything. Trigger is pretty good for a micro pistol. Take up, break and reset are just about where they should be for a carry piece. Sights are IMO perfect. Really love the SIG X-RAY sights. I was able to shoot 9 and 10 ring groups out to 10 yds and after that they started to open up a bit. With a little practice on my part and this gun will be a great shooter. A few more trips to the range like today and this will be one of my favorite carry guns.

It’s smaller thinner and shorter. I load it on top of one at the gun store.

I did not buy one yet. I bought a 6.8spc instead.
I like it and I’m not 100% sure what way ill go. I like the 365, but I also really like the ruger lightweight commander. Not sure what one I want.

I like the 365 also. If I didn’t already have a couple of great carry guns, I’d buy it right now. I believe as it’s proving itself very popular and reliable that Sig will soon introduce it with different looks/finishes like: SAS, Scorpion, Equinox, Nightmare, Extreme etc

its a way better feel than the 43 and just as sexy! but it holds almost 50% more.
plus its Not a Glock. Glocks point up into the air for me.

It's not just Reddit. I have been researching this in multiple sites because I want one too. Who wouldn't want a smaller 10 + 1? It would be great for my wife and me for that matter. But I am waiting because problems are still happening and I can't be sending this back to the factory and or buying aftermarket parts just to try to get it to run right when it'll be a purchase for carry.

Not for nothing, but I've been looking at that diamondback for years now. Who who wouldn't want a 9mm at the same size as a Ruger LCP? I'll gladly sacrifice to capacity for size but it's just not reliable so I have to wait.

I hate baby guns. But (if it was reliable) I would own one of those db9's in a heartbeat, perfect size for a nonpermisive carry gun

There are many thousands experiencing complete reliability from their P365's -- I have 2 that have never missed a beat in regular use. Generally you want a S/N above 70,000 to have been built with all the right parts, or a trip to the factory for a free update/upgrade. It should be noted that they are National Match 1911-tight when new, and you will have RTB problems unless you keep the slide properly lubed until the gun is broken in -- but the counter is that the accuracy is uncanny for a small gun. Also, you need to not use a high thumb, as it will ride the slide release and inhibit lock-open-on-empty -- but the grip readily supports a low thumb. The other plus is that for some reason the grip design results in almost no tendency to pull left (for a RH shooter) in one-handed fire. Also the +P rating allows you complete choice of carry ammo. No regrets.

I’ve read conflicting stories both ways about the reliability of the P365. My own experience (3 most dangerous words) are that the older the S/N the less likely you are to run into these issues. Could be design improvements, machining equipment improvements, better or different materials used. Who knows.

I couldn’t resist one from a batch that came in to my local shop last week. Date of birth is November 23rd, so it’s fresh off the production line. Now just waiting for my ammendment to go through. I was/am hesitant with all the bad press as well, but I will run it through it’s paces before carrying. It would take me quite a while to run thousands of rounds through it like those with money trees in their backyard, so we’ll see.

How many rounds did you run through the P365? Any defensive rounds? When was yours made?

My 365 is perfect with 700 rds thru it, not one issue. It is now my EDC, 12+1 with one spare gives me 25 rds. Try that with a Glop.

Be aware that some have exceeded 1k before having problems.

And it's the nature of the problems that are most concerning. Broken firing pins and trigger components render the gun useless and yourself defenseless.

I don't see the point -- I've had disabling failures on both Glocks and M&P's after comparable round counts. Latent defects are just that -- they take a while to show up. Most trainers that swear by Glocks still carry around a box of Glock parts, and there would be no armorers classes if the "good" guns never broke and never needed fixing. . .
