I can fit a 300yd rifle range in around the hills across the back.
There are a also a bunch of great places to setup some cool pistol ranges where you have effectively a mountain for the berm on about 300 degrees around you.
Might end up just setting one up off the back patio though
I will have targets and a bench set up shortly after we move in. I am sure the range itself will be subject to continuous improvement for quite some time though

My Lodge Cast Iron Griddle is getting a bit rusty (first pic is a new one).
Then there is mine:
It likely does not require ANYTHING, but I think I want to clean it down to bare metal.
Anyhow, I was a HF, and had this in my cart, for $7.99
Then I thought, why am I wasting my money on a tool that will be inadequate ?
When I could buy this, and own a real tool.
So I bought it.
And this buxomly gal sure seems to like her Needle Scaler a lot !

If you toss that bad boy in the oven and run the clean cycle, it will come out like new. All the carbon will burn off.
It's more than that, though.
There is heavy rust from being stored four seasons, outside, in the grill.

The needle scaler is for heavy scale, not just rust.
If you can’t flake dime sized chunks off with a knife it's not for this.
If you can, the cookware is probably past saving.
Get the carbon out of the way in an oven like suggested.
Then get rid of most of the rust mechanicaly with some sandpaper or a sand blaster.
Finish off the last bits chemically with some acid based rust remover.
Should be able to get them nice and shiny clean that way.
Depending on how bad the rust was you might need more sandpaper to get the surface finish back to an acceptable texture.
Then re-season and go.
Got my saw last night. I put it together but still have some fine tuning to do.

Just ordered five of these.
I usually don't like to put my kids on social media, but that was the only picture I had of the saw. By the time I got done putting it together it was very dark on the second floor. I really should but the light circuits in next.

I just got 7 of these today. I plan on putting together a few updated IFAK’s for my truck, the wife’s car , my BOB and one for my son and his new wife to build on for their needs.
