I had to upgrade from my Harbor Freight set. Half the tools are missing and of the remaining tools half are broken.

I really like how that set is organized. My craftsman set from 20+years ago has a plate to keep all the top stuff secure. Only thing I like about that is there is room for extra shit. I added some stubby archers, a bunch of extensions, and some razor blades, and a few other bits and stuff.

I love these sets to keep everything organized. I bought one for my dad because he’s a disaster and can never find anything. He dumped it twice and I helped him reassemble it. He dumped it a third time and now I’ll bet he couldn’t find a 10 mm in under 30 minutes.
I have a cheaper one I leave in the bed of my truck. It’s come in handy a few times. The time that stands out the most is a young mom brought her kids bike into Paddock Chevy for them to raise the seat and tighten it. They refused for liability reasons and shooed them away. I said I’m just waiting for the truck meet me around the corner and I’ll do it for you. 10 minutes later my truck pulled up and I fixed the kids bike in two minutes flat. She tried to give me a few bucks but I could tell they were fairly poor and hard up. I told her do me a favor take your kid for ice cream tonight since he was so polite about me fixing the bike.

Like your father I am also an organizational disaster. He has the Dewalt set? With mine everything is jammed in so tightly its hard to get something out when you want to, I have a hard time imagining dumping anything. Maybe the wrenches as they aren't fitted quite as tightly as the sockets which are stuck in there so tight I gotta reef on it a bit to pop one loose. Which is a good thing. For me.
I got it riding under the back seat of my truck.

Just showed up

Trulock turkey choke tube for my Benelli 20 gauge. Got the .045" constriction versus the .055", as I want to use it with both #4 and #6 shot, and as a general rule #4 and larger shot doesn't pattern as well as #5 & #6 in tighter chokes.

I got a big ass box leaning conspicuously up against my front door, that's what I got today.
Hafta wait for a day when I get off from work with enough sunlight left and no rain to see what's inside. That might not be till spring at this point.

I went to the local Rural King to handle a Rossi Gallery gun, I liked it and after they brought me out one from the back, that was NIB, I decided to purchase it. The ONLY person there who could process the 4473 had just gone to lunch, and wouldn't be back for an hour. I wasn't in the mood to wait an hour, so I put the rifle on layaway, and said; "I'll be back for it 1 day next week".

Well on my way back to RK to pick up my Gallery gun, I decided I would take a look at the Rossi Rio Bravo, the .22 lever rifle. Well I liked that one as well!!

Long story short, I came home with both of them.

Unfortunately right after I brought them home, I pinched a nerve in my hip, and have been pretty much incapacitated, so no range report at this time, I'm hoping to be able to get there in the next week or so. I'll follow-up with the report when I can get there.

when I was finished and came up out of the basement she handed me a beat up old leather shaving bag and said she found it in my father in laws closet.
