Got another holster to try out. Ranger green Cordura wrapped Safariland 6390RDS. Also picked up two OT Defense Nub Mods. One for my older 6360RDS and got a ranger green matching nub for the new one. Also made sure to grab a Ghostmen Designs Portal and an additional QLS.

Nice catch! Good ole Arkansas. I used to work/live in Batesville, AR. It was the ONLY job I ever had that they closed down the plant when hunting season opened. No kidding - they knew no one was going to show up anyways so it made sense just to close it up for a day.
I didn't really get anything lately. In fact, I had to downsize and sell some ammo ( idiot - I should have buried it where she wouldn't find it ). Anyways, I did pickup some Raid Fly Strips this afternoon.

Went to pick some up local Wally world. 3 box limit still. No unopened cases, otherwise I would have considered it a "singular" box. Oh well. Picked up 3 anyway since I was there. And a small container of Blackhorn 209. Price hasn't changed much but the containers are down to 8oz.

Just watch that rear take down button pin. It has a tendency to work it's way out while firing. Supposedly if it happens it's because the leg of the spring that is in there isn't in the right place to put pressure on the pin....I read it is a pain to fix. I have been meaning to just try some blue loctite on mine as a quick fix, since the pistol functions properly.

Picked these up after learning a very important lesson on carry ammo.The Sig 365 ammo I was carrying in my G43 wouldn’t fully cycle the pistol and resulted in several failure to feed at the range today.
If you already haven’t test your carry gun and ammo.

I always remember the story I cant remember the source or whatever
But some LEO who carried some small back up gun for years and years.. never once fired it or anything.. something like 10 years idk, and one day he was at the range and decided to shoot it. Come to find out the firing pin was broken and it didn't go off

Most cops never shoot their guns. My dads a cop(retired now) and I said you’d better order your ammo now before 9/1. His neighbor just got a rifle too so I said you guys should split a case of .223. He said how much is in a case? I said 1,000 rounds and he replied what are you nuts what would I ever need 500 rounds for. I asked if he was serious and he was. I said sorry I can’t help you then and when you want to go buy a box of .223 or one box of .22 you’ll be paying out the ass. I brought my pistols to his property and I said I brought 400-500 rounds he said what will you be there all day shooting? I said you go through that in an hour or two. People just don’t understand.
