Oh boy....
That’s one handsome Roscoe right there !
Thank you. Honestly though not a gigantic fan of the grips. A little too fat. The VZ grips I want are out of stock but when available I will get them. That’s one handsome Roscoe right there !
Certainly respectable. I’d argue the lower ones in the second picture are great hits. Putting a round into someone’s hip joints would hurt so bad they’d be crippled. Yes they can shoot back but man I’ll bet they will be huddled up on the ground d screaming in agony.Spent some time today trying out the ruger readydot I had put on my 365X-Macro.

this was the first 20 rounds at 7yards.

this was the next 20 rounds at 15 yards.
both times was raise from low ready, aim and fire as fast as I was comfortable pulling the trigger. All hits in the black. For a non adjustable, non zero able red dot it works quite well for defensive oriented shooting. Before this I had only put 20 rounds thru the P365 so I was also getting used to the gun as well. I’m curious with practice how decent I can do at 7, 15 and 25 yards with such an optic and a small gun. Considering I paid less than $100 for the optic I am quite happy. I plan on getting a second one for my 80X cheetah.
I’m happy with it as a starting point as this is a new gun and optic. Have to do more practice at the range before I’m confident enough to carry it from a personal skill level. I either group in pelvis/groin or in the neck region. My thought process is that if it happens to be a bad guy wearing armor those regions are still unprotected. The goal is to be proficient at 25 yards rapid firing. My logic is that if I can do it at the range at 25 yards, I can do it at 7-15 yards under stress.Certainly respectable. It’s just odd that same point of aim lends itself to the groin or center mass. I like that line of thinking with body armor and the groin region being u protected but if shot placement is that unpredictable where would you hit?I’m happy with it as a starting point as this is a new gun and optic. Love the flat triggers. Put them on everything I have.
Looks expensive.
Caught a Columbus day sale. $89 for the ar15 trigger and $99 for the AR9 triggers. One of them is for someone elseLooks expensive.
You can’t have too many Binoculars.New nocs. Sick of carrying a pair between upstairs, downstairs. I compared these in the store to Leupolds Alpines on sale at $199 but thought the Vortex had a slightly sharper image, and they were $30 less too. Made in China though.
