Ok so ordered a Ghost Inc. "Complete Spring Kit"

Includes a
6lb firing pin spring and a 4lb firing pin sprjng
Reduced power safety plunger spring
6lb trigger spring



So the 6lb spring is for "self defense" and the 4lb is for "sport shooting" and well I have a G19 for carry and a G17 for competition that was a win win.

But the kit only had one trigger spring and safety plunger spring. So I ordered and extra one of both of those. So now both Glocks have the new springs

Got myself that Glock 48 (in 9mm) I was yammering on about. Was able to shoot one a few weeks ago and really liked it. Fits in my hand great, should really help me with my shooting fundamentals I hope.

Pictured with my Shield for comparison. Still considered a compact.

Always nice to get a little something for yourself. I like the looks of the Shield. I am considering one after Xmas is said and done.

I like it too, but it's just too small for my hands, hard for me to "get a grip" so to speak. If you're gonna buy one, I'm selling one if you're interested. Other than that, it's a fine gun. It conceals great. I'm sure the 48 will conceal fine too, but the Shield really hid well.

Well, you gave me something to consider. I wear XL gloves. Think it's probably best for me to actually handle one, then decide.

I was going to buy the 19 after handling it, it felt really good in my hands. Then I shot one at class one week, really liked it. Then I did more research and saw the 48. Saw The Firing Pin had one to rent. Shot it, shot the 19, shot the 48 the rest of the day. Loved it. Definitely gotta handle it to see how you like it.

The real test will be if we ever do another 25y test for class again

Thought about buying one of those more than once. Handy for rifles and shotguns that don't have a bipod, for cleaning, scope mounting etc.

The Tipton would be my 2nd choice. I've been intrigued by the Versacradle. Anyone here have any experience with them?

I used this first one for a few years, switched to the ultimate I think they call it. One on the cart is just for cleaning, the one built on the stand is for working on stuff. Those new ones are cat's ass.

Picked up some ramps from HF since one of my hunting locations is a little rough and the light trailer prob wont make it back there. Somehow fit like a glove....

Had some left over heavy cable and made some retaining straps so as not to duplicate the dreaded "ramp slip ATV crash to the ground" scenario.

I haven't joined yet. When I do, so far I'm thinking G34 MOS. Do you have to use a blue label retailer to redeem the certificate?

Have a set. Come in handy for loading/moving all kinds of things, use with hand truck over steps etc. The movers dollies are great too.

When you gotta do most stuff yourself, you buy the stuff to make it easier by yourself.

Either blue label or one affiliated with GSSF, not all ffls will honor the coupon

I was at Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday checking out a G34. Not sure if it was a MOS didn't look closely. I happened to be in the neighborhood so I stopped by to look around. It would be great if they are an affiliate.

Probably not. It seems like the blue label dealers are smaller dealers. U can look it up on glocks website.

The coupons you use a blue label dealer. The pistol certificate, u can use your preferred ffl.

Do you plan on shooting at their events? If so u are limited to certain pistols in each division.

Thanks, I didn't pay attention to that part of the application. I DO want to compete. Probably do some traveling to compete too.

I don't want to start out completing with Masters. Guess I'll have to get two Glocks eventually.
