Maybe a g17 first and if u win a pistol certificate someday, get the more expensive g34. With a pistol certificate, the upcharge on the g34 $156. I got a new extractor for my Buckmark. Its been choking (stovepipes) on standard velocity ammo lately.

How do you like that service grade ammo, @Podmonkey ? It seems well priced when I see it.
Which one? I have shot a fair bit of the Winchester 9mm NATO in the past, mostly for use in classes and training since it closely approximates the recoil of my +P carry load. I like it fine, goes bang no issues ever, motivates steel plates better than typical 115gr range loads. Can't comment on accuracy since my pistol craft is not yet sufficient to discern such things.
As for the 7.62x51, I dunno, haven't bought it before.
I came across it in Gunbroker where a seller had numerous 200 cases up for no reserve auction.
I put in a low ball $75 bid not thinking I would win and I actually won. For $75 I imagine it will be entirely adequate. If the Galil likes it I will certainly buy much more at that price.

Today I received my DWS slide and inforce APLc to complete my RMR G19 ... well for now .
Before you guys pick on my little WML I like the APLc for EDC and have been running one on my m&p with over 3k rounds and the light still works as well as new .
After I learn the way of the RDS pistol I will put this in my EDC rotation.
